Welcome!

Hello 69.144.25.190, and welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, some of your edits have not conformed to Misplaced Pages's Neutral Point of View policy, and have been reverted. There's a great page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Misplaced Pages Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Big Spring, Texas

Hi and welcome! Just a note on why I removed the section from Big Spring, Texas: have you had a look at WP:NPOV? It's policy here that all edits should be written in a neutral tone, so they shouldn't sound like you're advocating one point of view or another. Also, only facts are included, so opinions, for example saying something is "wonderful", can't be included. Also, it's policy that edits should cite sources, so the encyclopedia will be a reputable source. Sorry for the revert! However, it would be great if you chose to reword the paragraph so that it's factual and neutral and add it back in. Thanks for contributing, and I hope you continue doing so! I'm glad to carry on any further discussion on my talk page. Peace, delldot | talk 18:21, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
