Talk:Barack Obama religion conspiracy theories
A bitter content dispute which I'm involved in has escalated, and personal attacks have continued by RogerO SD despite a final warning. I contend the info he's trying to add is in violation of WP:BLP and WP:NPOV. Please intervene.Jasper Deng (talk) 00:07, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- Since the discussion has been closed and no further edits have recently occurred, there really is not any need for me to intervene at this time. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:23, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
One-piece swimsuit page
I'm having problems with User talk:Swimsuitfan who is continully using a voyeur site on the article One-piece swimsuit where people PAY to watch perverted photos of women in swimsuits. I feel this violation of two terms. 1; As it's members have to pay for it, I feel it is the equation of advertising/spam. 2: It is a voyeur website and unsuitable for wikipedia's links. I removed it, but he (only a man would put this site here) returned it and claimed I was removing it because I am "narrowminded" and I should keep my views in "church". I see you have warned him before. Even after, he just returned it and hoped you wouldn't notice. I feel new action is needed against him. He claims it's not his site, but is fan fan. That surely is not an excuse to put in such a site. 60.224.3.242 (talk) 19:47, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
- You are correct in removing it. I see that Kuru has left the user a warning about it. If the editor continues to add the links, I recommend that you give him a final warning for spamming and then if he continues after that, report him to WP:AIV. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:41, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

Apologies, I appear to have blocked this editor at the same time you gave him a final waring. After reviewing his edits and the ones caught by the edit filter, this simply appeared to be a garden-variety troll. If you feel this should go through more extensive warnings to see if he will come around, I would not object. Kuru (talk) 15:59, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
- No worries. Nobody is going to miss him. If anything, I was probably being too kind. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 16:00, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
really why did you delete my page!
Seriously! I worked hard trying to make a story for my sisters! This was for my sisters to read not for people to delete it!!! so I want my page back so I could impress my sisters and my family!!! so please give me my page back or I'll get them!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Katiegodess60 (talk • contribs) 01:10, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

The Wicked Whispers wikipedia
Thanks for creating The Wicked Whispers wikipedia page. Why was it deleted?
Ste—Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.193.80.106 (talk) 15:22, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
- The Wicked Whispers (band) was not created by me. It was created by User:ElectoneR. I did, however, delete it as it did not establish why the band is notable enough for inclusion on Misplaced Pages. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 15:34, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
Clix-cents
Hello, Gogo Dodo … Well, Clix-cents (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) has been posted again … prehaps you should WP:SALT it?
Happy Editing! — 71.166.156.113 (talk · contribs) 19:01, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
- MrKIA11 deleted it and left the editor another warning. Salting would probably be a good idea if they create it for a third time. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:14, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
- Copy that … third time seems fair. :-) — 71.166.156.113 (talk) 21:18, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

Message from Sergeymukhin
Mr. Dodo,
Recently we directed to volunteer Joe who helps us, the following:
Dear Joe,
There is an accident. As you had recommended we were making 10 edits but suddenly was blocked by somebody Gogo Dodo who considered that we are spammers and generally criticized our approach to Misplaced Pages at all. We believe that his view in this case is superficial. What spam is our very serious and comprehensive work?
On another hand we found with great astonishment in Misplaced Pages the page of well known prostitute Tera Patrick. We will not be surprised if there are also many other pages of such persons as Patrick in Misplaced Pages. A very interesting situation turns out: the Misplaced Pages blocks our very serious work as a spam but allows various prostitutes to make their pages. We ask you to resolve this problem and to clarify the situation, a fortiori, this accident occurred due to your instruction: Without this we have not become spammers. We ask you to resolve this accident turning to corresponding higher person of Misplaced Pages.
Also we ask you to stand a question before the leadership of Misplaced Pages regarding the presence of pages of such persons as Tera Patrick.
We look forward to hearing from you soon concerning the above 2 questions.
Best wishes,
Sergey — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sergeymukhin (talk • contribs) 09:55, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

New Millennium Writings
Hi, I'm Don Williams, founding editor of New Millennium Writings (see my bio-note below). While I was not involved in the creation of the NMW Misplaced Pages article that existed for sometime, and while I know it wasn't incisive, I did enjoy seeing it there, and I'd like to post another article about our prize-winning literary journal. A few credentials follow, which I'd be glad to footnote in a later article. But, just fyi,
We were established in 1996. Since then, we've...
- Published 20 print editions or issues.
- Had many laudatory reviews and been acknowledged in articles in many publications, online and off, including Poets & Writers and Writers Digest.
- Run profiles, tributes and/or interviews on major American writers, including J. D. Salinger, John Updike, Cormac McCarthy, Ken Kesey, Nikki Giovanni, William Burroughs, Lee Smith, Kurt Vonnegut and many others.
- Published scores of poets and writers, including dozens who won our awards.
- Had poems and stories reprinted in Best American Poetry and other prestigious journals.
- Had poets go on to win major awards, including Pamela Uschuk, who won our prize, then went on to win the American Book Award.
I could go on and on--and likely will--should I get the go-ahead to establish a new page or well-sourced article for New Millennium Writings. Please get back with me asap. I'm still learning Misplaced Pages, but you may contact me at or I suppose on some Misplaced Pages page or phone me .
For more information, visit .
Here's my bio.
Don Williams is a prize-winning columnist, short story writer, sometime TV commentator and the founding editor and publisher of New Millennium Writings, an annual anthology of literary stories, essays and poems. His awards include a Michigan Journalism Fellowship, a Golden Presscard Award and the Malcolm Law Journalism Prize. He is finishing two novels set in his native Tennessee, Iraq, Paris, the Bahamas and other locations. His book of selected journalism, "Heroes, Sheroes and Zeroes, the Best Writings About People" by Don Williams, is due a second printing. Kate Middleton
Hi, thanks for blocking User:Thepretender12 and his sockpuppet User:Thepretender13, both used solely to vandalise the Kate Middleton article again. As her wedding is imminent I suspect vandalism to the page will increase. It might be a good idea to protect the page - either semi or full for say one month. Best, ► Philg88 ◄ 21:45, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
- Not a problem on blocking those two. =) With the wedding so close, I'm actually surprised that the vandalism is fairly light. Semi-protection might eventually be necessary, but I think for now we're okay. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:49, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
OK, no problem, thanks for the prompt response. Best ► Philg88 ◄ 21:53, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
Plagium article deletion
I totally disagree with the Plagium article deletion, that has been done while I was editing the article. If Misplaced Pages policy, is to avoid article referencing softwares, then I don't see why such commercial articles still exists:
http://en.wikipedia.org/Copyscape http://en.wikipedia.org/Turnitin http://en.wikipedia.org/Plagiarismscanner
The content of the Plagium article was very similar. If there's no way Plagium article to be restored, and eventually corrected, then these articles must be deleted according to the same policy. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grossefatigue (talk • contribs) 00:15, 20 April 2011 (UTC)

All Burma Monks Alliance
Hi Gogo Dodo,
I was starting creation of an article about U Gambira and I noticed you'd once speedy-deleted an article on the All Burma Monks Alliance for criterion G8--does this just mean it was a redirect in place of a full article? I'm thinking of tackling that one next; they got extensive international attention in the 2007 Burmese anti-government protests and continue to be active worldwide, so I think I can make a good case that they're notable enough, but I did want to check with you before proceeding. Cheers, -- Khazar (talk) 05:00, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
