Jagged 85 cleanup: article stubbing
Hello. You are invited to take part in this vote concerning the clean-up effort in connectuion with Jagged 85's RFC/U. Regards Gun Powder Ma (talk) 11:44, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
New Categories
I see you have recently created or added to a number of categories including Category:Alchemists_of_the_Islamic_Golden_Age and Category:Islamic psychology. Because these categories are directly related to Wikipedia_talk:Requests_for_comment/Jagged_85, I would recommend starting a discussion there about the categories. While some of them may well be a good addition to Misplaced Pages, others including Category:Islamic psychology and Category:Islamic technology are problematic names. As many have argued on wikipedia, science, technology, and other such categories are independent of religeon, and cannot be accurately described as 'Islamic'. Dialectric (talk) 05:52, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- Hello. I've proposed these categories for deletion for the reasons I give here. Regards Gun Powder Ma (talk) 11:09, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
Hi. Personally, I'd like to knew whether you are new to WP or why you have mastered complicated WP mechanisms in less than a month. Not that we don't appreciate geniuses, but just a feeling of curiosity here on my part. RegardsGun Powder Ma (talk) 21:05, 2 April 2011 (UTC)- Consider the above irrelevant and apologies. Vandalism
Please don't call good-faith edits vandalism, it is very impolite. I await your apology William M. Connolley (talk) 07:29, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- Last warning. Repeated unfounded allegations of vandalism are not acceptable. Also, please discuss your reverts William M. Connolley (talk) 19:34, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
Category:Islamic mathematics
You have removed a large number of mathematicians from Category:Islamic mathematics, without adding them to Category:Mathematicians of the Islamic Golden Age. Could your please fix this ASAP otherwise they might get "lost". I've rolled back your change an somewhat less than half of the articles, where the change was still the top edit. —Ruud 13:47, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
Jagged 85, misconceptions2
Can you please tell me what the issue is with Jagged 85's articles. I understand there is a problem, but dont completely understand the sitution.
I have also reverted WIlliam's redirect on Islamic Medicine, as i understand that wiki abcorm comitee has refused to get involved, so no decisions has been made by wikipedia admins'. also is william right to think that because, ab corm refuse to get invovled, then it means Jagged 85's articles should be cleaned up, as some of the articles edited by this user, definately deserves its own articles, for this reason i feel it was right decision to revert his redirect on http://en.wikipedia.org/Medicine_in_medieval_Islam
as per http://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia:Be_bold

circulatory system
The claim that "pulmonary and coronary circulation forms the basis of the circulatory system" is nonsense. The basis of the circulatory system, if there is such a thing, is the beating of the heart. And anyway, a publication on the history of Islamic Medicine is NOT the right source to source the claim. Your ability to find sources that seem to exactly match my removals in such short order is also quite interesting. I would also appreciate it if you replied to my query on the talkpage, instead of just reverting. Athenean (talk) 02:52, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Reliability of Robert Spencer
The reliability of Robert Spencer's work has already been discussed and established here , here , here , here and here ...and aside from calling him "extremist" (ideology, really), you have given zero evidence that Spencer's work are not reliable sources. I should also point out that you calling him an extremist and then removing any works by him (without evidence) violates NPOV of Misplaced Pages:Biographies of living persons.Sleetman (talk) 07:17, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
Qur'an
I appreciated your comments on the poll for changing name to Quran from Qur'an. The evidence they use is not reliable as I have pointed out on the talk page. Abdullajh (talk) 04:09, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
- It was nice to see your comments on the Qur'an article. Please enter your vote in the poll that is being conducted for a return to the long-standing spelling. Best wishes, Abdullajh (talk) 04:24, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

Civility: warning
Calling good faith edits vandalism is a breach of civility. Calling attempts to discuss the issue on talk "ranting", ditto. I draw your attention to Misplaced Pages:Wikiquette_alerts#Aquib_american_muslim, in particular the comment by FPAS of 12:10, 17 May 2011 William M. Connolley (talk) 18:05, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
