Grrr, Grr...go away
I'm an uncivil editor, I am, I am. I might dare to disagree with you. (I might even, rarely, be right).
Don't tell me!
When complaining about one of my edits here, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not give me the name of the article in question, nor give any specific hints. If possible, use a different IP address to comment on the edit. I love puzzles and I'll happily devote all my spare time to figuring out which of the last 20,000 edits has displeased you.
"Why did you change that?" --192.168.2.3 - now there's a comment that I can really spend time on. (Don't even give a date stamp...sometimes I don't log in for a few hours, this adds to the challenge.)
Revision of E.B. Campbell Hydroelectric Station
Hey man,
First of all, I am sorry if I posted in your talk page wrong. :o I don't normally communicate that much on Wiki, just edit. :) However, on the E.B. Campbell Hydroelectric Station / Dam the Powerhouse and the actual dam are in different spots. Hence why I figured they needed the two sets of coordinates. The Dam and the Powerhouse are approximately 5 KM (3 Miles) apart as the crow flies (8.5 KM or 5.2 Miles driving). Far enough apart that if you weren't aware you wouldn't know the Powerhouse existed and why I thought it needed two sets of coordinates. Dnirvine (talk) 05:31, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
- This is what talk pages are for - you even told me which article you're talking abuot! Fantastic. Anyway, the problem was that both sets of coordinates were trying to display at the top of the page, making it unreadable. I altered the "display" line in at least one of the infoboxes so that only one set of coordinates shows at the top of the page (the further north set, for the powerhouse). The spillway coords appear under the picture of the spillway, and the powerhouse coords under that nice interior shot of the powerhouse I got the last time I was there. You can't see the spillway from the powerhouse, they are a long way apart.
- Now if you click on both sets of coordinates and do a little zooming, you can flip betwen a Google Maps view of either one and see the marker flip between powerhouse and spillway locations. --Wtshymanski (talk) 13:10, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
- Of course I mentioned what article I was talking about. I read your ranting first, then posted. ;) The way the updated notes appeared it seemed that you made the Powerhouse and Spillway coordinates the same (which as you know, they aren't). I probably could have gotten a newer photo of the dam spilling (as I was up there a few days ago and it's wide open again), but I didn't venture down to that point this time around. Just curious... where are you from? Dnirvine (talk) 18:39, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
B*ching and moaning
- Edit warring
If you parse "official" narrowly enough, you can make it mean anything you want...though it helps to have an admin hammer to make consensus. --Wtshymanski (talk) 21:37, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

Oh thank you, I was *so* worried I wasn't going to have permission from some anonymous person on the Misplaced Pages to have my own opinions.--Wtshymanski (talk) 15:32, 26 November 2010 (UTC)

Making articke about batteries less useful (LR44)
Misplaced Pages is an important source of informations for me but sometimes I do not understand what's going on here. One of the useful artickle was "LR44 battery" But Wtshymanski has removed some important informations making this source not good enough: 15:40, 25 January 2011 (diff | hist) LR44 battery (remove unreferenced cross reference list - WP:IINFO)
This informations are not easy to find and Misplaced Pages is a good place to put them together. WP:IINFO is nonsense in this case.

- I'm sorry. When did Misplaced Pages become a spare parts catalog? Every battery sales site on the Web has cross-reference information, there's no need to duplicate every fact on the Misplaced Pages. --Wtshymanski (talk) 20:50, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
Stop removing things
Please stop removing other people’s useful work without a good reason. Thanks! — Timwi (talk) 09:20, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
- At last, someone who understands my talk page structure. . --Wtshymanski (talk) 17:26, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
- My pleasure! :) But seriously, the comment was intentionally generic. Just because you find something “not useful” doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be in the article. Unless you have an actual reason to remove something, don’t remove it. Thanks! — Timwi (talk) 22:13, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
I notice you reverted my change to the “Don’t tell me” box. Well, don’t be surprised that nobody notices it then :) As it is now, it looks like a normal discussion thread from someone else, not something that visitors of this page should read. — Timwi (talk) 21:57, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
