Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Misplaced Pages pages, as you did to Madden NFL. Sebastian Vettel
Hi Phanuruch8555. Why do you keep removing the image from Sebastian Vettel's infobox? DH85868993 (talk) 08:15, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Bretonbanquet (talk) 11:29, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi, if you read WP:3RR, it will explain to you what it is. Basically, you're not allowed to keep changing an article to your preferred version more than 3 times in a 24 hour period. You keep deleting the photo of Vettel every time someone puts it back. You need to discuss why you want the photo removed, instead of deleting it all the time. Maybe you can start a dicussion here: Talk:Sebastian Vettel. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 11:59, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
- Hi again - I've just read your user page, and I see that you seem quite happy to continue edit warring over the Vettel photo and your "secret reason". If you start warring again, then 3RR or not, you're gone - finished. I won't be able to help you, and I won't even try after the first time. So the choice is yours. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Pirate Ahoy Offline.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Pirate Ahoy Offline.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. PF
Hello. I reverted your redirect of PF to Playfish. PF means many different things in many different fields, and the disambiguation page allows us to list all of the meanings, to help readers in navigation. I added Playfish to that page as one of the possible meanings. If you feel strongly that this should redirect to Playfish, please start a thread at Misplaced Pages:Redirects for discussion. Thanks. Jokestress (talk) 15:57, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
- Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages, as you did at PF. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Jokestress (talk) 15:06, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
- The same applies to your redirect of ESC. If you redirect a disambiguation page like that again you may be blocked. Please don't do it. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) - talk 13:02, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
Re: Formula One Redirects
Hi. It is WP:F1 policy that future races are not given full articles, unless they are the next race (eg 2011 German Grand Prix), or have something notable to be written about them (eg 2010 British Grand Prix). The remaining races of 2011 do not meet either of these criteria, and therefore do not merit articles of their own, but a redirect to the 2011 Formula One season page is better than any potential red links. {{Eurovision-stub}} and varieties
Greetings! A stub template or category which you created has been nominated for renaming or deletion at Misplaced Pages:Stub types for deletion. The stub type most likely doesn't meet Misplaced Pages requirements for a stub type, through failure to meet standards relating to the name, scope, current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Misplaced Pages:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first at Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals! This message is a boilerplate, left here as a courtesy, and should not be considered personal in nature. Grutness...wha? 01:11, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User who hate the disambiguation
A tag has been placed on User who hate the disambiguation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an article talk page, file description page, file talk page, MediaWiki page, MediaWiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, user talk or special page from the main/article space.
If you can fix the redirect to point to a mainspace page, please do so and remove the speedy deletion tag. However, please do not remove the speedy deletion tag unless you are fixing the redirect. If you think the redirect should be retained as is for some reason, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Troller101 (talk) 02:35, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
