Eventually, I just contacted one of the adopters myself to see if they would adopt me, and she did. Yay, I finally had a Wikimentor. | |||
| To fast-forward somewhat, I have no clue what it is that happened in 2007 that finally spurred me to edit more. WP:AFD, perhaps? That slow-ass app I used to use, Lupin AVT? Probably both. By my contributions steadily became more useful. | |||
| The Golden Age of 21655's Editing came in late February of 2008, when I got my hands on ] 0.6.3. Or something like that. Firing it up, I started whacking/reporting vandalism like never before. My edit count skyrocketed. And now, it rests at about 4000 (for those of you about to warn me about editcountitis, shut the fuck up and keep reading. I'm fully aware of that and I don't think I care anymore, now that I'm leaving). | |||
