Hello, welcome to my talk page!
If you want to leave a message, please do it at the bottom, as a new section, for better formatting. You can do that by simply pressing the plus sign (+) or "new section" on the top of this page. And don't forget to sign your messages with four tildes, like this: ~~~~
Attention: I prefer to keep discussions unfragmented. If you leave a comment for me here, I will most likely respond to it on this same page—my talk page—as an effort to keep the entire conversation in one place. By the same token, if I leave a comment on your talk page, please respond to it there. Remember, we can use our watchlist and topic subscriptions to keep track of when responses are made. At the same time, feel free to send an alert to me on this page about a comment you have left elsewhere.
Thank you!
Please leave a new message. |
Ridin' Censorship
I am upset that you removed the censorship section. You could have added to it instead of deleting it. There was a censorship section in Like a Boss.
Largerthanlife147 (talk) 01:06, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- Articles should not have blank sections in them. If you have some properly sourced content to add, by all means add it, but we don't need section headers sectioning off an area with nothing in it, that's just silly. Beeblebrox (talk) 01:16, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- And now that I've looked over the other article you mentioned, the section you refer to was completely unsourced and has been removed as well. Beeblebrox (talk) 01:22, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
Irish Barnstar of National Merit
I saw the edit you made adding "The Irish Barnstar". Nice work! (I assume you did the graphic design, too; I'm impressed). The only problem is that there already is an Ireland Barnstar of National Merit, and I replaced your edit with the older, more established award. If you have any questions, just respond here. Cheers! Disambiguation link notification
Hi. When you recently edited Ferrari Boyz, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page XXL (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
I'll fix that now, thanks It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:52, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
Your recent edits
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 12:52, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
RE:Link to guideline
I mentioned it in the edit summary; Template:Infobox album#Template:Singles, "1.Do not include singles that were added as bonus tracks on a re-release of an album." Dan56 (talk) 23:00, 16 February 2012 (UTC) Are you sure they count as Bonus Tracks? Forever was a high charting single
- What do you mean? They weren't on the original release. Dan56 (talk) 23:12, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
Never mind, I'll keep those guidelines in mind in future, cheers
List of best-selling music artists
Please refrain from reverting edits of the main editors at the List of best-selling music artists who have brought the list to the level it is. Also, explain what you mean by first none of the other sale figures are in order, second all irish chart certified sales are there. If you wish to insert Irish certified sales, you must insert it for all others for consistency sake, you can't insert for one artist and not insert for others. Finally, follow all instructions posted on the list including the order by which the markets are placed: Markets' order within the table is based on Retail Value each market generates respectively, largest market at the top and smallest at the bottom. --Harout72 (talk) 21:43, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Christian Rock Hard Screen Shot.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Christian Rock Hard Screen Shot.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion contested: 2011 Torneo di Viareggio
Hello Green-Halcyon, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of 2011 Torneo di Viareggio, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: article is not about a club. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Bmusician 12:57, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
RE: Speedy Deletions
That's okay. As long as you've learned from the mistake, that's great. I hope you will continue to patrol new pages. Stay cool, Bmusician 13:32, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
RE: Speedy deletion contested: Torneo di Viareggio 2011
I created two page by mistake: the correct one is Torneo di Viareggio 2011 and is still being edited (it's a stub), so i would appreciated if you wouldn't delete my effort to update the viareggio cup information that on English wikipedia is somewhat sketchy. -- Gp37 17:42, 20 February 2012 (CET)
- I'm moving it to userspace so you can work on it there - it's not ready for the main space yet. It's now at User:Gp37/Torneo di Viareggio 2011. This'll take the pressure off you a bit. Cheers. Peridon (talk) 16:54, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- It's fine, I will finish there, but how can I move it back where it belongs when it's finished? Just by creating the page? For the relevance of the page itself, I was just compiling the 2011 season (and soon wanted to do the 2012) of a tournement already published on wikipedia, check here. Protection Forest
I've declined your speedy as it's not an A7. People are in A7s - individuals, companies, knitting circles, global conspiracies, etc - and named animals are too. Species don't come into A7, though. For some reason, web content does, but not forests. This is referenced, and has articles on the French, German and Polish Wikipedias, so I would presume there is notability. I've added 'stub', and gone into the other three languages to get them (and ours) up to date on the transwiki links. The CSD categories can be confusing. Took me a while to get them straight without a cribpage open to refer to... Peridon (talk) 16:47, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- Same with Urban iconography - but you'd tagged it before I gave you the tip above. If you want any help over what is and isn't covered by CSD - and a lot isn't - just let me know. Peridon (talk) 19:42, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Gora Chakk Wala
Hello Green-Halcyon. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Gora Chakk Wala, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Thank you. ϢereSpielChequers 01:43, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
