In a recent speach Russian President Vladimir Putin called Bush's America "Comrade Wolf".
Comrade Wolf refers to a Russian Joke, were Rabinovick (an archetypal Russian Jew, often an otkaznik (refusenik), who is refused permission to emigrate to Israel), & his sheep are going into the woods. They end up falling into a pit that is very deep. A few moments later a wolf falls into the pit. The sheep that are scared do to the arival of the wolf start bleating. "What do you mean - baa, baa, baa" - says Rabinovich, “Comrade Wolf knows whom to eat”.
