Anamikaagen!
Anamikaagen / Welcome Poesam. I have noticed you have done significant edits to many articles falling into the Anishinaabe subroject (IPNA/Nish) of the Indigenous Peoples of North America project (IPNA). Miigwech. However, many of your addition violates the neutral point of view (NPOV) policy. I have begun editing some of the article to bring to NPOV, but I encourage you to do this yourself. If you need assistance from other users, please feel free to post a discussion at either IPNA or IPNA/Nish. Miigwech. Baanimaa. CJLippert (talk) 17:40, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. I noticed your recent edit to Grahams Island does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! additionally the tags you removed remain valid. Please do not remove tags without either confirming that the issues have been fixed or solving them yourself. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 23:36, 31 March 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Chief Rocky Boy. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Muskegoes, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. Edit-warring at Muskegoes
Your recent editing history at Muskegoes shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. -- Donald Albury 20:43, 18 April 2012 (UTC)

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. It appears that you recently tried to give Swampy Cree a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Thank you. -Uyvsdi (talk) 21:09, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Uyvsdi

Do not remove notices for active AfD discussions, as you did here. If you continue to do so your edits may be seen as vandalism. --joe decker 20:12, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
Referencing
Hi there. I see that you are unhappy about a page getting deleted. You should not be blaming any one person for this. There was a discussion and a collective decision was made. Please read the discussion here: Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Ahontoay. Certainly being rude to Joe Decker is not going to help you. What you need to do is read the policies on verification and reliable sources so that you can reference your future edits properly. Remember that it is the responsibility of anybody adding information to provide references to verify the content. Unreferenced or very badly referenced content can be removed. It is not anybody else's fault if content is removed because nobody can verify it. --DanielRigal (talk) 23:12, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Assinibwan Indians of Montana
The article Assinibwan Indians of Montana has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Srikar Kashyap (talk) 06:20, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
Nomination of Non Treaty Chippewa Indians for deletion

Citations and NPOV
Poesam, I appreciate that you are attempting to add substantive information to Misplaced Pages. However, I believe you should read up a bit on Wiki policies and guidelines. Otherwise, your pages will continue to be tagged for problems and/or deleted. You need to provide proper sources for the statements you make. may be of some help to you. I also suggest you read on maintaining a neutral point of view. You clearly feel passionate about topics related to Native Americans. However, Misplaced Pages is intended to provide objective information. Statements such as "The United States may claim otherwise but land is the issue" clearly falls short of this goal. Even if you are 100% certain that your opinion is the correct one to have, this is not the venue to voice your opinion.
Finally, you need to review Misplaced Pages:Edit warring to protect yourself from being banned from editing altogether. If this occurs, it does not help you or the Misplaced Pages community.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.JoelWhy (talk) 20:38, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, I'm Hispanic. But, your racist commentary and thinly-veiled threats have been duly noted. Cheers! JoelWhy (talk) 20:51, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
