An Armenian-American is a citizen of the United States who is of Armenian ancestry. At United States 2000 Census, 385,488 Americans indicated Armenian full or partial ancestry. The largest concentration of Armenian-Americans are located in Glendale, California. Other important Armenian-American communities include Watertown, Massachusetts, Fresno, California and the Greater Los Angeles area. The 2005 estimate of Armenian-Americans currently living in the U.S. is 1 million.
