Princess Shahnaz Pahlavi (Template:Lang-fa, Shahnâz Pahlavi or Šahnāz Pahlavi , born 27 March 1960) is the first child and Heir of Her.Imperial.Majesty Empress Farah Pahlavi and His.Imperial.Highness Prince Mohammed Reza Pahlavi The Prince Consort of Iran, she is the Heir of her mother to the Throne of Iran and Budapest.When she was born, the country of Iran's poor were given a bag of money, Food and Blankets, also any girl who was born on the same day as her would be sent 10 24ct gold coins and an invitation for her parents to Golestan palace to have dinner with the Empress.
Education
Shahnaz was privately educated and tutored in saad'baad palace because her mother feared Assassination attempts, at age 18 she moved to London at Oxford university to study History, Sociology, Religious Education, Art and Humanitarianism, she became friend's with H.R.H Prince Andrew, The Duke Of York at the university although he was in his final year and they still are Close friend's.Shahnaz passed all her subjects with a 1:1 in history, 2:1 in Sociology, 1:1 in Religious Education, 2:3 in Art and 1:1 in Humanitarianism.
Roles as Crown Princess
Shahnaz was described "a great model for every Persian female" she travels on behalf of her mother to countries and is an Ambassador to many charities around the world she is also a close friend of H.M Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and Lady Gaga, they met each other from the philanthropy work they did. When Shahnaz was 21 her mother Farah Pahlavi made her the head of state of Budapest and if Farah was out of the country Shahnaz would be Queen Regent and would rule Iran on behalf of her mother.When the Declaration was made Shahnaz sat on the Jeweled Sun Throne and her Mother Sat on the jeweled Nader-i throne for Monarchs.
1st Marriage
When Shahnaz was 17 she started looking for suitors and met Ardeshir Zahedi who was the son of the Iranian foreign minister and his wife.Their Marriage was in Golestan palace, there were 2 ceremonies, the Nikaah ( Religious wedding ) and then the royal party, many Royals and celebrities attended included Elizabeth II, Juliana of the Netherlands, the Sultan of Brunei and many more guests.2 weeks after their wedding the royal couple moved to Budapest 1 year later Shahnaz gave birth to a daughter styled Her.Imperial.Highness Grand High Princess Zahra Mahnaz Pahlavi 2nd in line for the throne of Iran .1 year later the couples relationship did not work out so Shahnaz Divorced Ardeshir.
2nd Marriage
Shahnaz later married Khosrow Jahanbani in February 1978 the wedding was small and formal and only immediate family members were invited.They have one son styled His.Imperial.Highness Grand High Prince Keykhosrow Jahanbani Pahlavi 3rd in line to the throne of Iran and Budapest, a year later she gave birth to another daughter styled Her.Imperial.Highness Grand High Princess Fawzieh Jahanbani Pahlavi.
The 1979 Revolution
At the Time of the Iranian Islamic Revolution started by Ayatollah Khomeini, Shahnaz was in Budapest and her Mother, Father 2 brothers and 2 sisters were in Iran and she knew that they could no longer stay in Iran so she Immediately sent a private Jet from Egypt to Iran and then back again 3 weeks later it was confirmed that Iran was no longer an Imperial Country, 2,500 Years of the same family ruling was abolished. After Exile from Iran The Empress moved to Budapest and ruled.
Death of His.Imperial.Highness The Prince Consort Mohammed Reza Pahlavi
In 1980 Shahnaz's father died from Gallstones, the whole of Budapest was mourning, in her memoir Shahnaz wrote "the death of my father was even darker than the revolution, it was like all my happiness had gone away".For a short while Shahnaz was in Rehab and did not appear publicly anymore.

As shahnaz is a descendant of Alfonso XIII of Spain and Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg she is also a descendant of Queen Victoria and is also a cousin to a few European Monarchs and Heirs to thrones, Shahnaz, Her Children, Her Mother and Brother and sister and their Children are respectably also in line to the thrones of Spain, United Kingdom and the Netherlands.Shahnaz's Paternal Great Grandfather is of Polish Descent.
