Regarding your edit here. You're not supposed to change other people's comments on talk pages. It is considered vandalism. You can respond to his comment or post a new comment of your own. See this. Aucaman 01:36, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Hi there
I thought you might be interested in this. Endorse if you agree with the case. --ManiF 15:28, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

removal of arab names
Please do not arbitrarily remove arab names from biographies (even if thy are persian). Most of them published in arabic, so the biographies should mention there names in arabic. Cheers, —Ruud 18:19, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Warning
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. -- Szvest 18:21, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Arab, Persian, Muslim, Islam
Hi there - I've noticed that in a number of articles you have changed the reference of persons from, for example, "Muslim" to "Persian" - when you do this, could you please make a note of it on their respective talk pages, so other editors can understand and know the reasoning behind your edits? Some of these identifiers have been quite stable in the articles for a while, so it would be courteous to others to indicate changes that you feel will improve the article. When you do not do this, your edits can be misinterpreted as meaning something else. I hope this makes sense, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to come by my talk page. --HappyCamper 18:25, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Another note. Please use your common sense! Instead of removing encyclopaedic info, add to it!!! They are Persians, yes, but they are also Muslims and most of their biographies are written in Arabic. So just add their ethnicity instead of throwing the rest to trash. Cheers -- Szvest 18:43, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Salam
When you edit, please make sure to:
1. State the reasons for the edit in Edit Summery field.
2. Not to revert somebody else's edit more than three times within 24 hours.
Thanks.
Last warning
Followed by a first warning, I stated above (among other users) what to do. This is your last warning!!! Szvest 18:58, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Two VERY important comments
- Post you comments at the BOTTOM of the talk page.
- Knowing that a certain person was Persian isn't enough on Misplaced Pages, you have to show reliable sources. o if you claim every encyclopedia you've read says such and such, you actually have to add those references to the articles. Please, contact me for more information.
Also you might want to slow down a bit. You a new user and still have to learn the rules. If you continue like this, chanes are that you will get blocked (even if you ARE right, your behaviour can be disruptive). Cheers, —Ruud 19:04, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Use your common sense
Replying to your comment on my user page. Please, sing your comment and use the edit summaries. I am gonna repeat what i said above... Please use your common sense! Instead of removing encyclopaedic info, add to it!!! They are Persians, yes, but they are also Muslims and most of their biographies are written in Arabic. So just add their ethnicity instead of throwing the rest to trash. cheers -- Szvest 19:20, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Signing talk contributions; Aucaman RfC
Hi, I see you're still struggling a bit with how to edit talk pages. Just one important request: Please, whenever you add something to a talk page, write four tilde characters (~~~~) behind your contribution. That will turn automatically into a proper signature and time stamp. Thanks!
I added a comment to your accusation against Aucaman at the RfC page, as you've probably seen. If you want to substantiate that accusation, please point us to the exact place where he did those things. (If you don't know how to do that, no problem, ask me.) I really cannot find anything in the edit histories that shows Aucaman treated you badly. If by any chance you were confusing his warnings with those of other contributors, it might be a good idea to retract your statement. Lukas 22:15, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for removing your comment from the RfC page; I've removed mine too. I've also tidied up on the Iranian nations AfD page. Please note that (a) you can't vote twice on an AfD poll, and (b) on AfD pages (more than anywhere else) you should never add your comment above the original nomination. Personal attacks
Dariush, accusing another editor of "lies and propaganda" (like here) is a personal attack, which is strictly forbidden. Please take this as a warning, as this kind of behaviour can get you blocked or otherwise sanctioned. Be civil. Lukas 22:54, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Dariush be a little more civil please, but Lukas that certainly was not a personal attack, although it was incivil and certainly uncalled for. Furthermore Lukas, you yourself calling many editors "whiners", "nationalists" and "ramblers".... is in fact a form of personal attacking, and altbough I can appreciate your warning here, but you too need to adhere to these rules, since there are no double standards in Misplaced Pages; just be aware of that please. But, thanks anyway.Zmmz 00:07, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
User:Diyako is trying to make an alternative ficticious definition of Newroz
User:Diyako has created an article on a Turkic-Nowruz without mention of its Iranian history and roots. Soon we will here Nowruz has nothing to do with Iran too. His article is Nevruz. This should be merged or edited properly. He has gone on the Turkish discussions to promote it.
Here is what user:Diyako has written;
Nevruz is the spring festival among Turkic-speaking nations, from Turkey to Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan etc. It is very similar to the Iranian festival of Norouz.
According to Turkish legends Nevruz dates back to era of Gökturks.

Use the edit summery
When editing an article, there is a small field labeled "Summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
It is highly recommended that one fill in the edit summary field, as it makes it easier for you and your fellow contributors to understand what has changed, and is helpful when going through the history of the page.
--ManiF 15:45, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hi again, please don't forget to fill in the edit summary field. Also, it'd be nice if you could out of courtesy discuss major edits on talk pages of the articles. --ManiF 03:08, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Oh and please read WP:NPOV and WP:AGF to become familiar with Misplaced Pages policies. --ManiF 03:15, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
