:::Look, you want to change Misplaced Pages in a big way. How about stopping the vandalism? How about stopping the exodus of good quality editors who are leaving? How about fixing the insane backlog on tons of cleanup categories? How about fixing those things and then get back to the uniformity of articles. Nothing you are doing right now is going to fix uniformity (cause it is your perfered uniform version, not consensus) and it isn't going to get done when you are blocked for 3RR. How about fix the big problems, then go after uniformity. Think you are going to change things? Been here 6 years, biggest change was ] and ]. That's it. We aren't big on change, kinda goes with that whole "💕" thing. - <small style="white-space:nowrap;border:1px solid #900;padding:1px;">] • ] • 06:51, 10 July 2012 (UTC)</small> | :::Look, you want to change Misplaced Pages in a big way. ::::My friend (term used loosely), that is where you have it all wrong. When there is an order that everyone can agree on, then the so-called "little" problems can be taken care of or will take care of themselves. You can't go after the big problems without a firm plan. It sounds like there is none here. What's even worse is your "we aren't big on change" statement. Comments like that will get you nowhere. Sometimes changes must be forced in order to see results. I am all about results, not about keeping a comfortable status quo for a few lazy editors. | |||
::::Oh, and just for you, I will continue to work independently. I will continue to advocate for change and uniformity for these television station articles. My goal is to make positive benefits to Misplaced Pages. So if that means we are on opposite sides then oh, well. 07:11, 10 July 2012 (UTC) |

WMRO
Let's accord Donna Halper quite a bit of good faith here. She's not a random editor. (Thanks.) - Dravecky (talk) 07:47, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
- Ah, that I didn't know, didn't recognize the name. We still might run into a problem with the Radio-Info.com reference as it is a web board and those are considered unreliable. I would be open to a tag being placed for a better reference to be added or just blank the reference and have a "citation needed" tag. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 07:57, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
- I already removed the message board reference and slapped up a cn tag. At some point, I'll wade through the Broadcasting Yearbooks to find a reliable source for the change in city of license. - Dravecky (talk) 23:44, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
- Okie Dokie, thanks. :) I think we can mark this resolved. Since you have eyes on the WMRO page, I will take it off my watchlist to avoid any other mistakes on my part (ie: mistaking Ms. Halper for a random editor). :) - Neutralhomer • Talk • 04:32, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

OTRS
Have you considered connecting to the irc channel? #wikimedia-otrs Ryan Vesey Review me! 15:27, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
- I tried the IRC channel, but there wasn't anyone active on the channel when I checked in. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 15:29, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
List of media markets and college football
Your G12 nomination of List of media markets and college football includes a link to an OTRS ticket, which I don't find. I don't have access to all tickets, but I have access to all English permissions and Commons, so if it exists, I should be able to save it. Was this a mistake? Did you mean to link to something else? --SPhilbrick(Talk) 13:12, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- No, I meant to put that link. You can see the link for the ticket here Sorry for the confusion, just woke up and my brain isn't quite working up to speed yet. Also, sorry for the slow reply, was sleeping in (well, trying to...stupid neighbors). - Neutralhomer • Talk • 15:10, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, I don't have access to that ticket, I'll see if I can track down someone who does.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 15:24, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- You could ask User:ErrantX, he was able to view a 2011 ticket I needed information about yesterday. Perhaps he can see this one as well. Take Care...Neutralhomer • Talk • 15:26, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- Looks like someone has taken care of it.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 15:41, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- Yup, they did. :) I guess we were up a little earlier than the OTRS folks. :) Take Care...Neutralhomer • Talk • 15:44, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

July 2012
Is the hidden notice even necessary? I know I'm no saint, but Fairlyoddparents has a history of stalking and harassing me after I gave him nothing but constructive criticism then asked him/her to leave me alone. He/she is doing nothing but trying to prove a point, and that's why I've taken the stance I have against him/her. The tone of the message itself is harsh and should not have been written in that manner.
As for your messages, I have been very careful not to touch the three-reverts-in-24-hours zone. Look at the times more closely before you go accusing someone of being beyond it.
BTW, are you and administrator? Because if you aren't I'd appreciate it if you refrain from acting like one. DreamMcQueen (talk) 06:03, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, it is. Since you weren't here when the OTRS ticket was put in place, I will let you know what happened...every template (the ones with the stations for a certain are) numbering about 300+, the network templates numbering about 200+, plus about 50 different pages were all deleted. All of that had to be rebuilt without the DMA listings. People who don't know about the OTRS ticket need to be told so they don't add the information and we have to go through the whole thing again. When you remove it, people don't know. It gets removed again, people aren't going to be happy....me for one.
- Actually, you have that "stance" against everyone. From me, to User:Tvtonightokc, to User:Strafidlo, to now User:Fairlyoddparents. A stance of "my way or the highway". A stance of just plain criticism, nothing constructive, edit warring, and reverts. That doesn't work here on Misplaced Pages and it is going to get you blocked. Since you know you are at 3RR, that shows you know you are edit warring and doing it on purpose. That can still get you blocked.
- I don't have to be an admin to act like one. I have been here a little under 6 years, I know the rules, you obviously don't or just don't care. Now...you can do this two ways, you can follow the rules, drop the attitude, work constuctively with fellow editor and everything will cool...OR....you can continue, be indef blocked and never edit here again. If you continue down the path you are on, the latter is going to happen whether you want it to or not. Choose your path and choose it wisely. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 06:16, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- It doesn't mean a thing to me if you've been here six years, six months, or six days. How long you've been here doesn't make you entitled. And as for your claim of "my way or the highway," I'd seriously take a look in the mirror before I say that again. Once more, I guess we agree to disagree. DreamMcQueen (talk) 06:29, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- So, what you are saying is I'm not entitled, but you are? Cause that is sure what it sounds like. Actually, I am not much for looking in mirrors, I let my actions speak for themselves. Right now, yours are speaking volumes. Mine, not so much. As for agreeing, I don't. Cause you will continue to edit war, harrass, berate, revert, and try to get your "perfered version" on pages. When you start following the rules, then we can agree on something. Until then, ain't happenin' buckwheat. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 06:36, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
And, on the issue of opening paragraphs
I brought this up on WT:TVS and I was hoping for a response from you; I never got one. So please do not claim the condensed, easier-to-read versions I'm advocating are the "preferred" version when the overly-technical, long and run-on sentence-laden ones you are reverting back to clearly are. So far, I see a consensus of really three: you, Stradiflo, and TVtonightOKC who is piggybacking for the sake of piggybacking. That is hardly a consensus. Please answer my thread on WT:TVS and we can settle this issue once and for all. DreamMcQueen (talk) 06:22, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Why should you hear from me when you already know what I am going to say. WP:TVS has much more to do than to rehash subjects that are as old as Misplaced Pages itself. I won't answer your thread when I have said all I need to say right here. You are't going to get what you want by demanding it, that doesn't work with me and sure-as-hell doesn't work here. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 06:26, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Saying "please" is not a demand. Answering my thread is putting out there for the whole community to chime in. Yes WP:TVS has issues, and uniformity is one of them. I'm trying to get some here, and -- I'll be honest -- poor writing is one of those things in my crosshairs. Let's get a real consensus from the participants at large, not one or two editors who think they rule the roost.
- I can also honestly say right now that you are behaving like a hypocrite. You are "demanding" that I fall in line while you refuse my request for dialogue. I guess we will be working on opposite sides of this issue until you are ready to have an open dialogue. DreamMcQueen (talk) 06:38, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- TVS has more "issues" than uniformity. More like "not enough people to keep all the pages updated" (but it gets done), or "an insane amount of vandalism on hundreds of different pages" (but we take care of it)....uniformity is not one of our big concerns. Why? Maybe because this is a 💕 that everyone can edit and everyone has a different writing style. We don't do uniformity on really any of the articles here. It would be nice, but with so many different writing styles, it would be impossible. You can put your crosshairs on just about whatever you want, you are going to run into different writing styles and uniformity will never happen. It would change the project to a point it would no longer be free.

- As for me being a hypocrite, this is coming from someone who is demanding I essentially repeat myself while you go around and fun little posts like this one...but I am sure that is just "constructive criticism". I am not one to repeat myself either. I can, however, link our previous discussion. Really all that needs to be said is here...or here.
