Apparently racist abuse isn't grounds for blocking any more.... 2 lines of K303 19:46, 28 July 2012 (UTC)

Chris Hoy...

Identifies as both British and Scottish...it was sourced. It was not being used as a Tautology. And I want to see a Diff about that "racial abuse" - it's got me curious. --Τασουλα (talk) 20:19, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

I'd have thought the bit immediately following saying he competes for Scotland and Great Britain would cover that anyway?????
See the state of this page at 15:35, 27 July 2012, IP blocked at 16:05, 27 July 2012 for "Edit warring" for making this edit at 16:02, 27 July 2012. Related discussion here. Spout attempted racist abuse, nothing done. Carry on edit warring, block. Makes sense eh? 2 lines of K303 20:24, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
I initially thought that. What kind of changed my mind was about how Hoy describes himself as, but it's hardly important as like you said having the Team-GBR part after does cover it well enough. Another editor who made the same change made it seem as if Hoy just competes for GBR rather than it being part of his identity which is not true. Hoy has also made it clear it has an intense dislike of this stuff anyway! So I wont fuss. Ah thanks. I'll take a look. Ah yes. I see it. What an original insult for the Irish! What a primitive little troll that banned user is. --Τασουλα (talk) 20:31, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
Just seen your recent interactions with this banned user again. Is he feigning ignorance that he is banned and not welcome here or does he just not care? It's funny watching him go around acting as if he's all official and perfectly within his right to do what he does. --Τασουλα (talk) 17:30, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
I don't know why he keeps trying to add his laughably incorrect POV into articles, especially since it never stays in. For example he claims the Dail was immediately declared illegal after it met in January 1919, funny how it didn't happen until 12 September. Obviously "immediately" must mean "eight months later" in the minds of certain people.... 2 lines of K303 17:50, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
His life must be pathetically boring if he resorts to stuff like this. kinda looks like his MO, but the IP is different range wise, but then I see he has been known to "Hop". --Τασουλα (talk) 20:27, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

Topic ban

Per the consensus of uninvolved administrators in this AE thread, you are banned from all articles, discussions, and other content related to The Troubles, the Ulster banner and British baronets, broadly construed across all namespaces for a period of 3 months. This topic ban may be appealed at AE, and every six months thereafter. Per WP:AC/DS#Appeal you may appeal this ban the appropriate noticeboard (currently Misplaced Pages:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement), or directly to the Arbitration Committee--Cailil 13:07, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
