== Corporate goals ==
The PDPC website describes themselves as:

According to their charter, the PDPC exists "to help peer-directed project communities flourish", mostly based around ] projects, and encouraging the use of free software through supporting it's development.

Although the PDPC is mostly based around the ] ] Network, their website says there may be future projects to which the PDPC is investigating, seeking funding to take on ] social services projects for the communities.

== Fundraising and volunteer staff ==
PDPC has one full-time paid staff member, the executive director, ]. The board's other members The board members are:

Freenode has in the past run fundraisers to support the ] ] network. Fundraisers are publicised on the IRC network and website. People who donate to PDPC receive special "user cloaks" on the IRC network as a sign of their support.
