I joined Misplaced Pages in April 2006 under a previous account. I've created something like 200 articles (complete lists here & here). My primary interests and areas of contribution are punk rock, emo. I am an idiot who had no part in the 80s or 90s emo scene yet i think i have the right to call obviously post-grunge bands like 30 Seconds to Mars emo just because some mainstream website calls it emo without knowing what it means. I also do not know what it means, since I can't name a single emo band and I haven't even read the wikipedia page. My favorite punk rock band is One Direction and I know it's punk because Yahoo called it pop punk once and that automatically means it's brutal slamming metalcore. My favorite hardcore punk band is Nickelback and if you say it's not hardcore punk, it means you do not agree with it and you hate Misplaced Pages's rules. I also do a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff involving WikiProjects, templates, categories, files, etc. I created WikiProject Alien and revamped WikiProjects Punk music and Emo. I helped advance Alien vs. Predator to FA, and Aliens and Alien Resurrection to GA. I completely rewrote Alien top-to-bottom and was primarily responsible for getting it to GA.
My username comes from an old song by The Vandals. This may be the funniest edit I've ever seen.

Vigorous writing is concise. A sentence should contain no unnecessary words, a paragraph no unnecessary sentences, for the same reason that a drawing should have no unnecessary lines and a machine no unnecessary parts. This requires not that the writer make all his sentences short, or that he avoid all detail and treat his subjects only in outline, but that every word tell. –Strunk, William Jr. (1918). Articles
Here's an abbreviated list of articles I've contributed to in a major capacity, meaning I either created them or pretty much rewrote them completely. Generally if I've worked on an article about a musical artist then I've also worked on all of the album articles associated with that artist, but I won't list all of those.
Since becoming a Wikipedian, I've noticed that one of the more difficult tasks is finding freely-licensed images to use of living persons and active bands, particularly ones that aren't extremely notable. Since I go to a lot of concerts/gigs, I've taken to bringing my camera along and snapping away. I have an account at Wikimedia Commons through which I release the least awful photos under free licenses. I'm no photographer, and I'm armed only with a simple digital camera, but I do have a fondness for Misplaced Pages and a willingness to share my photos freely. I hope to illustrate articles on bands and musicians where I can. Here are some of the images I've contributed that are/have been used in Misplaced Pages articles:
