For demonstrating notability with Flat Bastion Road. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:09, 11 October 2012 (UTC) |
There's some issues brought up on the talk page which you might respond to.♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:58, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
Can you try to find anything further on Abuwtiyuw? Its at GAN, I've improved it but I thought you might find sources I missed. Could use more background info about the expedition and discovery. If you could improve, naturally you could claim it as a GA. An ancient Egyptian dog struck me as a very cool subject.♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:40, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
I'd appreciate it very much if you could try to find more on this.♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:14, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
Yes, you may be right, but I thought that about Flat Bastion Road and you turned up whole late 19th century accounts and even a historical picture which nobody else could find! Do what you can anyway, there was a few sources in google books which I couldn't access, you might find something in them.♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:08, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

Trafalgar Cemetery challenge
This Sunday is the Battle of Trafalgar commemoration day - there will be an annual commemoration event in Trafalgar Cemetery in Gib. It would be great if we could get a 5x expansion done in time for the article to be ready for DYK for that day. Could you see what you can do with it? Prioryman (talk) 23:35, 16 October 2012 (UTC)

Many thanks for the timely rescue of the historical figure. It's now in the queue at DYK. Warden (talk) 18:40, 18 October 2012 (UTC) |
Thanks for continuing to expand the article - a prodigious tour-de-force. I don't want to jog your elbow and so am just making minor edits where they seem appropriate. Please note that I have started some talk page discussion on more substantial issues. I don't have strong feelings about them but think that it's good to have some discussion to show interest and provide a model for any other interested parties. Gibraltarpedia DYKs
Please be aware that some editors who did not participate in the discussion at Misplaced Pages talk:Did you know/GibraltarPediA Options are suggesting that a moratorium on Gibraltar-related DYKs should be imposed, overturning the earlier agreement. This would impact some of your nominated DYK articles. If you have any views on this, please feel free to comment at Misplaced Pages talk:Did you know#Time-sensitive DYK nomination. It is still copy and paste even if you cleverly copy and paste a string of sources together. Please summarize the material, and please correct the unsupported material the one line you actually summarized instead of plagiarizing is wrong! Fjozk (talk) 01:17, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
Re: Muhlenbergia pungens zapped
My advice is to let the process play out. Unfortunately this is also one of the most frustrating courses of action. There is a discussion at Misplaced Pages talk:Did you know#Our lead hook on the main page leads to Investigation of potential copyright issue dealing with the DYK nomination that you may wish to read. --Allen3 10:25, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi mate, thought I'd drop you a note about the above. Because of the articles I work on regularly, many of the pages you edited today happen to be in my watchlist (though you're working in an era about 50 years earlier than most of the ones I have been working on). Was nice to watch you build the article and then make each edit to thoroughly link it from relevant pages. Is looking really good. Nice work! Cheers, Stalwart111 (talk) 00:48, 25 October 2012 (UTC).
