Potential Musical Edit War, Your Help Requested
Hello, TUF-KAT. I am looking for some help with concensus on a musical issue and am inviting you to participate. Rather than prejudice your thinking, i will simply say that it involves a song by David Allan Coe called Nigger Fucker. In order to understand the flow of events, i suggest that you go the history of the page, and read through the revisions in date order (there are not an overhwleming number), then go to the talk page. Basically, there is a conflict between those who feel it is valuable to note what the song is about and those who wiish to "clean it up" to the point that there is no mention of the controversy between satire versus racism. Things became very heated when Shel Silverstein's name was dragged into it (why? Go figure...) and there is a user who is bsically reverting the article to a stub every few hours. I have never been in this sort of a conflict before, and i want to do what is right. I am not looking for people on "my side," just for people who have experience editing music pages who can bring some calmth to the situation. Thanks for looking it over, if you have time, and, if not, thanks for at least allowing me to ask for help. Catherineyronwode 00:38, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

Did you know? has been updated. A fact from the article Sesenne, which you recently created, has been featured in that section on the Main Page. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page. |

The quote boxes have been removed as you observed.. A small favor, could you strike thru "Oppose" and add "Support". I just don't want confusion with someone still seeing oppose. Thanks for you input and support. Ccson 03:31, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
Dubious addition
Would youmind having a look at this? It reeks of copyvio to me. Circeus 14:25, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
Salsa music
New user Ninabeba (talk · contribs) has been complaining (first as 151.132.106.242 (talk · contribs), no doubt) about bias in Salsa music and posting comments in the page despite constant revert. I've left him a note at his talk page, but since you were the main contributor to push the article to featured status, I thought you would probably be more competent than me to adress his content concerns. Classical singers and performers
I'm having a kind of hard time trying to find the most appropriate place to put all the requested operatic and concert performers. The classical section isn't very big and not very well defined. Williamb 01:12, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

- If you don't mind me butting in, I found references for a character named châlchiuhtlatônac, a name associated with châlchiuhtlicue or châlchihuitl îcue, which seems to be the proper name of the aztec water goddess. Châlchiuhtlatônac is apparently the aspect that presidesover first births. Circeus 23:20, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
