==You and {{User|OsFan}}==
I've taken the time to review your case, so let me see if I can sum it up to you in as few words as possible:
{{User|OsFan}} ''was'' at fault for attacking you the way he did (I will speak to him about the matter after this.). He had no right to tell you to "leave the article for someone else to creat". First of all, '''anyone''' can edit '''any page they want''' to (as long as they are not breaking any policies when doing so). Moreover, according to the], "poorly written first drafts of articles can evolve into polished, presentable masterpieces through the process of collaborative editing". i.e, '''Perfection is not required.''' One should also feel free to make mistakes, and through collaboration, it can be polished. Osfan is obviously someone who is ignorant of how Misplaced Pages works, and I'm sorry that you were the victim of this.
On a side note though: When someone makes personal attacks at you, do not stoop to their level. I know that Osfan did provoke you, but I can see that you also perpetuated the incident by responding harshly to him (for example, in this edit you called him looser and dismissed his reading ability). Again, I know that he was the one who attacked you, but you could have still kept your cool.
I should point out that some users consider it disrespectful when a user removes comments from his or her talk page. Although ''you'' are using it, you really cannot ''claim'' it and tell others what to post and what not to post. For certain, you cannot remove warnings from you pages, nor can you delete discussions about the policies and concerns over your behavior. You can, however, archive it when it's too long. With this said, I cannot ban Osfan from your talk page, nor can any other Administrators (I've already pointed out that I'm going to contact him about his actions).
Lastly, I think that all of this could have been avioded if both of you took time to read a few of the policies, and remained civil and respectful. If he presists, or if you have difficulty understanding anything, feel free to report to me. ]] ] ] ] 03:40, 20 May 2006 (UTC) |

TVRage
I moved the following here from Talk:TVRage.com. Mangojuice 20:48, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Who the hell took this down? TV.COM purist vandals? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr. R.K.Z (talk • contribs)
- Doubtful --- only admins can actually delete pages. I just checked for you and record of it is available at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/TVRage.com (second nomination). According to it, the determination was delete. So from what I can tell, no vandalism, just a considered decision. Agent0042 20:16, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
There seems to a large amount of "keeps" in the ATD, so this could not have been a consensus decision from the TV.COM loyalists, but mainly because of the rules the article was breaking, which was easily repairable given one neutral partys' intervention.
I suppose I can try and reestablish it later once I figure out how to approach it objectivly. Dr. R.K.Z
- Hey, I'm for it, actually, if you can get it to work. But I worry that somebody may delete it again, saying that it's still not noteable enough. Another page for a site called "TeleGuides" was also taken down. Agent0042 02:36, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Blanking pages
Please do not replace Misplaced Pages pages or sections with blank content. It is considered vandalism. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. ⇒ SWATJester Aim Fire! 19:56, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
If it's about the TZ article, it's to clear up the clustured discussion.
Unfortunately, it's generally not considered good form to remove other people's talk page comments. If you think the page is large enough for an archive, you can archive it, otherwise, you should leave other people's talk page comments alone. ⇒ SWATJester Aim Fire! 20:06, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
-I understand, thankyou for clarifying.
To Osfan
I have the right to delete snide snobbish lip I'm getting from mistakes I can't help because of physical problems. Why don't you try and learn to be a professional when saying what was "attrocious" about an edit I made? I could'nt give a rat's ass if you find fault in it, as it can be easily fixed by somebody else. Besides, as stated in the first edit made, it was done quickly and was'nt a "permanent edit", meaning I had no intention of caring if it was well maintained in format or whatnot. If I somehow offended you SOOO badly that you decided to give me lip over it, your funeral. A viking funeral.
Until I get a warning from people above you, don't expect your comments to stay that long
- My issue with Hugo Savinovich was the poor spelling. If you don't have the time to do basic things such as spell check, then leave the article for someone else to creat. You can recommend Misplaced Pages articles to get created as well at Misplaced Pages: Requested articles/sports. I also was not personally attacking you; I was attacking your work. OsFan 15:22, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Personal attacks
Like this are not welcomed on Misplaced Pages. Please refrain from making similar comments in the future. No personal attacks is an offical policy on Misplaced Pages. Comment on content, not on the contributor. Personal attacks will rarely help you make a point; they hurt the Misplaced Pages community and deter users from helping create a good encyclopedia. --Naha| 17:50, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
- I merely said the spelling was atrocious. Is that really a big deal? What terminology should I use? OsFan 03:34, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- The comment "please learn to spell" was'nt needed. I have problems that lead to my occasional mistakes in the typo department and you struck a personal chord
- Blah Blah Blah:::
- The comment "please learn to spell" was'nt needed. I have problems that lead to my occasional mistakes in the typo department and you struck a personal chord
Looks like you clearly don't know how to read, look above toots, I said I have problems that lead to my occasional mistakes in the typo department, not only did you decide to blatantly disrespect this problem and use it to justify your inane and stupid crusade against what I did to some fracking article I did'nt give a damn about, you've, again, ignored the explanation I gave for it.
Why the pluck is this article so essential to you? I've done plenty of articles since then that are perfectly well spelt given time and paitence. You clearly want attention, and you're clearly getting none of it. Again, I never had any intention of doing anything with that article other than putting it up there in a hurry for others tp quickly clean up and reedit, meaning I did'nt care it was rushed or mispelt, aritcles that I DO care about get more professional attention, So take that to the bank, roll it up, and cheque it, I'm done with you.
(After another generic bout of whining)
Learn to READ. I swear to god, how long does it take you to understand when your opinion and your voice is'nt wanted here? Delete the comments I've left on YOUR talback and let's be done with this (and I note I only ever commented on your talkback again because you decided to completly ignore everything I've said above in previous exchanges to again post here when told not to) I'm going to report you the next time you even think of attacking this page again. This is your final warning
John Cena
Don't call editors such as myself or Antrophica (who are both male) "fangirls" while editing John Cena. I consider it a personal attack, and I will report you if you persist. Blacklist 02:44, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
And I'll report you for disguising or deleting factual accounts. JR at 'Mania never ONCE said Cena was too original and edgy for traditionalists to understand, I'm a traditionalist, I "get" Cena, I get Rap, I get hip hop, what you kept in there makes it sound as if the traditionalists don't have a fracking clue, but if JR never implied that Cena was too much for our kind, then it should'nt be in there.
