==Photographs==
Ah yes the photo thing, I get that a lot. I have a practice of requesting photographs directly from page subjects, not that people always get back to me. Maybe about half of the time. You'd be surprised how many people are willing to give you a photo if you ask, something I learned along the way I guess. I wish I could get more, but a lot of times the photo you receive isn't any good or belongs to somebody else, so it's precarious work. I can teach you how to get better images for your pages if you'd like :) I should also add that it works better for profs or techies; a lot of the medical, musical, and legal subjects I write about are pretty lacking in imagery, largely due to the limits of what is really possible with a website that requires all images to be released into the public domain. ] (]) 04:19, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

Talk Page PreferencesIf I left a comment on your talk page or an article talk page, please reply there to maintain the linear flow of the discussion. I generally watch talk pages that I have commented on for awhile. If I do not reply in a timely manner, please feel free to leave a note or {{talkback}} here. Unless you tell me otherwise, I will follow the same procedure if you leave a comment here on my talk page.

Also, please note that I delete, rather than archive, old discussion on my talk page after I have read it and after I think any other interested editors have read it. Of course, you can read any of the old discussion via my talk page history.

Happy editing!

Looking for a third opinion

Hi, Novaseminary. I was pleased to see your name pop up on my watchlist, as I had been wondering if you were "around". I'm looking for a third opinion at Talk:National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., in discussion of membership numbers to include in the article. Having seen your history of involvement with other Baptist topics, I thought of you as a candidate to be a knowledgable but "uninvolved" third party there. --Orlady (talk) 03:59, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

Sure. I did some digging and put down my thoughts. Novaseminary (talk) 04:27, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for being a third opinion, Novaseminary. I'll wait for tomorrow before pursuing the discussion further. --Orlady (talk) 05:55, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

Independent Baptists

I noticed you reverted some of my edits to a prior version.

I understand your concern about the removal of tags for lack of citations. However, there simply is no "Independent Baptist" denominational website to which a link providing such information is possible (nor will there ever be), because the "Independent" name implies that any church calling itself such is not affiliated with any denomination.

Groups such as The Sword of the Lord, although having historical ties with the Independent Baptist movement, are themselves independent, and a link to what any such group believes and practices is not necessarily indicative of the movement as a whole.

I will continue to search for reputable third-party references. However, as the movement is considered "extreme right-wing" in some circles, the only references available will either be too closely tied to the movement, or too far in opposition to it, to be able to provide a neutral POV.Quidam65 (talk) 23:37, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

My addition to the Moody Bible Inst. article

The college is world-renowned, but nothing in the article says anything about that. Look at the first paragraph of Harvard University: a sourced statement very similar to mine appears. So there should be nothing wrong with a similar statement that is also sourced.

Google and you'll see what I mean. It's objective and belongs on the MBI page.

Maybe it needs to appear at the top of the page? Please let me know, and I can work on something--right now that page is pretty terrible, I hate to say it.... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.104.175.175 (talk) 19:12, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

Tags at Machine vision

Given the history there, the three tags that you just added are somewhere on the border of useful and battling. I'm going to put my rose colored glasses on on go with the former. So, thanks for those! Feedback from someone not immersed in the field is very useful.  :-) North8000 (talk) 22:07, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
