EF0 S of Stoughton Norfolk 42°06′N 71°06′W / 42.10°N 71.10°W / 42.10; -71.10 (Stoughton (May 9, EF0)) 2031 0.25 miles (400 m) Brief tornado touched down near a car dealership and was caught on camera. Three RVs, weighing about 5,000 pounds (2,300 kg) each, were pushed back about 6 feet (1.8 m) into a chain-link fence. A trailer was lifted about 15 feet (4.6 m) and thrown into a light pole, but it landed back on its wheels with minimal damage. A 15 by 20 feet (4.6 by 6.1 m) aluminum door was blown out of a garage at the dealership and ceiling tiles were lifted from the dealership. Two pine trees were downed before the tornado dissipated. This tornado formed from a cold-air funnel, the majority of which do not touch down.

EF0 SE of Terre Haute Vigo 39°23′N 87°18′W / 39.39°N 87.30°W / 39.39; -87.30 (Riley (May 9, EF0)) 0025 unknown Tornado was observed by a volunteer fireman. It destroyed a small shed and downed several trees.

EF1 NE of Nocona Montague unknown 1.3 miles (2.1 km) A mobile home slid off of its foundation, a few site-built homes were damaged, and several trees were downed.
