BJJFan
Hi Niteshift, I want to start updating some of the bjj fighters information on wiki.what would wiki consider reliable sources? I mean the only reliable source of bjj information seems to be from articles and news web sites spread out through the internet. Here are some examples: , , , those are the major online news for bjj and mma in the world. They publish monthly magazines as wellI mean would you consider those reliable sources? If not we have to shut down every major bjj competitor, because most information come from these sites. Also I've notice some fighters are adding the tournament results and fight records, in which are detailed information about their matches, what do you think about that? --Bjjfan232 (talk) 03:17, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

No worries, Niteshift--I was happy to back you up there (that was easy anyway, since you were right). Man, some people need to get out more, so they don't have so many words left when they get here. Cheers! Drmies (talk) 22:48, 6 December 2011 (UTC) |

- Tell you what, I had the opposite happen tonight. Old neighbor comes by, there's a bottle of champagne, she and Mrs. Drmies claim to be tired etc; by the time they're gone and I'm thinking about finishing that bottle, it's empty after all. Plus they were disrespecting the Clint Eastwood movie I was watching, tsk tsk. Also, I made a promise: to not respond at ANI. Hey, we're all buddy-buddy now, with all this stuff going on, but weren't we in a fight a couple of months ago? Where you were wrong, of course. Later! Drmies (talk) 05:34, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

The Good Shephard
I suppose you think that's funny. It took me all day to transcribe that trash from my TV screen. :) When I wrote that stuff I was a young and foolish 63 year old with a new toy. I am now 64 and a little wiser and I.Won't.Do.It.Again.(promise). That article isn't deserving of all the attention it gets anyhow. The reason for all the caps is that that was how it appeared on the TV. However, there should be a way to cite the credits from a film, or even scenes in it. Could you point me in the right direction on that? If I change my mind after all when I know how to do it and put the music back in I hope you won't come after me with your nightstick! Please accept this with a good heart, I don't think much of stalkers either. :) Jodosma (talk) 22:37, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
Apologies (Re RSN)
Hi. I'd like to apologise for my behaviour in the recent RSN on Hazel Kirk. I think that my behaviour went over the line on multiple occasions in the way that I addressed you and your arguments. I don't mean this from the perspective of an online civility "policy", but just in terms of how one should normally address another human being. Normally I find it easy enough to deescalate in those kinds of situations; unfortunately I didn't in this instance. Sorry again for my remarks, including my initial one, many of which were unfair, rude and condescending. FiachraByrne (talk) 21:47, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

Apologies re Hoax
Sir, sorry for accusing you of a WP:HOAX, that was not the right term. I thought you were denying that Episcopalians were Protestants. As well, an FYI: in the Catholic, Episcopal, and other centrally-governed Churches, membership numbers are always higher than weekly attendance (except maybe at some vacation resort) because the bishop controls a bunch of the resources and distributes them according to how many members a parish has. Therefore, to receive these resources individual parishes do as much as they can to include everyone in the list including Easter-and-Christmas attendees and other not-so-active members. They have every motivation to include someone and few motives not to. This is a little internal politics that may not be published in a reliable source but everyone inside these churches knows it happens.>> M.P.Schneider,LC (parlemus • feci) 04:20, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
Cashis
Woah man, I am not trying to go back to reverting each other over and over on the Cashis page. Lets discuss this. The reason you give for not including it is that he notable for not releasing albums? That was during his time at Shady Records when Eminem was going through his drug problem and then returning to rap. Why do you think so many artists left the record label besides 50 Cent. For example, Cashis was off Shady Records for less then a year and he released The Art of Dying. Considering he has been discussing the album on Twitter and the first single was just released. It won't come out in May, but it is basically guaranteed the album will come out this year. STATic message me! 15:46, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
- My guesses about why an album was delayed over and over isn't relevant. What happens on other articles that I'm not editing doesn't really matter either. What we do know, without speculation, is that he promised an album several time over 2 years or so, continually missing dates. That he is likely to miss his latest promise just reinforces that. You quoted a MOS and said it makes it ok. I do not see where it says that. Can you be specific where it says it's ok to add unreleased albums? I really don't see it. Niteshift36 (talk) 15:56, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
- It indicates the discography section should list the releases covered in the article. This album is, and it was confirmed to be released this year. "What happens on other articles that I'm not editing doesn't really matter either" just tells me you are just trying to be stubborn, all articles should be modeled off of GAs and FAs. Listing an unreleased album in the discography is common practice in music articles. Take it to WP:MUSICIANS if you think that should be changed, but articles must remain consistent with others. STATic message me! 17:34, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, releases should be there. This, however, is not a release. It is a planned release. I left it alone in the actual body of the article, talking about the projected date, but it doesn't belong on the list of releases until it is a release. And no, you lack of good faith assessment that it's just me being stubborn is wrong. It's me being realistic. When was the last time either of those artists missed a release date by.....a couple of years? You keep saying it's "confirmed". We had reliable sources "confirm" the release date of his last album over and over, missing it every time. THAT is exactly why WP:CRYSTAL exists. You're calling something that has not happened "confirmed". The PLAN is confirmed, the release is not. We have a source in there right now "confirming" the May release. Even you admit that it probably won't happen. And this won't be close to the first time with Cashis. Niteshift36 (talk) 17:55, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
- I meant albums not releases. All albums should be there as the discography summarizes the article. Albums get pushed back all the time, you act like its going to take him another four, five years to release an album. You seem to not realize the difference of being signed to a major record label compared to just his own record label. I pointed out to you articles that are considered the upper echelon of musical artists articles that do this, and you continue to deny the change. I said if you do not like it take it to WP:MUSICIANS so we can remove ALL unreleased albums from discographies across the project. Oh wait that would not happen. Than do not try to keep this article to a different standard. It is just there to say "hey Cashis PLANS to release an album titled ____ during 2013. You act like its a huge change to the article. Just look at Lil Wayne, Big Sean, Rick Ross, J. Cole, Schoolboy Q, Drake. They all list upcoming albums. This is nothing new. STATic message me! 18:11, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
- It might take him years. Who knows? For you to say that I don't know the difference between a major label (and a completly useless wikilink) and an indie borders on insulting. You say it's there to say he plans to release it? The article already (and still) says that. I never removed that. What I have removed is the REDUNDANT claim that is in a place that makes it look like it has already occured. You keep acting like I'm removing all mention of it. Niteshift36 (talk) 19:23, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

False allegations
Please stop misrepresenting the actions of other editors. Claiming "he has reverted 3 editors, 4 times in the last 2 days. BRD is long past" is bordering on a personal attack. At List of Terra Nova episodes on 21 May I reverted Frogkermit because he edited against a long standing consensus.
