Quebec National Soccer Team
Hi,
I appreciate your recent review of the Quebec national soccer team. Firstly, I disagree with moving the page to "official" from "national" because nation and state are not interchangeable terms and Quebec does indeed meet the qualifications of a nation. However, I am really wondering why you believe the article does not meet notibility requirements for sports articles but these teams do. Thank you.

Lucy Fleming
This is purely out of curiosity. Unreferenced information in biographies of living people used to be just flagged with the possibility of removal. I assume from Lucy Fleming that the policy is now to remove every scrap of unreferenced information from every article about living people. If this is implemented universally, it will considerably reduce the usefulness of Misplaced Pages, since most unreferenced information is not likely to cause damage. In particular I cannot see that much harm could be done in leaving an unreferenced filmography in place. JMcC (talk) 07:02, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
- I am genuinely surprised by your response. It was not my intention to be aggressive and I still find it hard to see anything that contravenes WP guidelines. As I said it was just curiosity. I honestly thought that things had moved on and that zapping all unreferenced material in living biographies was now official policy. It seemed a shame and so I wrote. I had just assumed that you are more au fait with the myriad of WP:XXs than I am. Should I now believe it was just a simple error on your part? JMcC (talk) 14:47, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Oliver McBurnie
Yesterday Oliver McBurnie (the youth team striker) played for Manchester United in the Milk Cup, he is on work experience for them, is this appearance enough to start a Misplaced Pages page about him?
BradfordCityBrad1 (talk) 14:09, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
The Milk Cup is a youth tournament though?
BradfordCityBrad1 (talk) 16:05, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Ok mate.

Kemy Agustien
Agustien has signed a two-year deal with Brighton, which is awaiting confirmation from the Welsh FA (why do they always take ages to confirm deals?). Agustien has himself updated his Twitter details and uploaded a further photograph to Instagram of his new training kit but I shall not alter his article until official sourced confirmation is released.
Further on from this, can I request that the football kits on the Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. page be updated, changing kit templates is unfortunately something I haven't yet mastered.RM-Taylor (talk) 14:21, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Kenny Davenport
<ref name="firstfootballleaguegoal"> is a BBC source, so User:Egghead06 is correct. <ref name="firstleaguegoalother"> is the Telegraph source. :) Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 20:24, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Evan Finnegan PROD?
Do you think Evan Finnegan should be PROD? I don't think he's notable. Thanks. JMHamo (talk) 13:50, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
Problems with one user
Hi GS, I hope you´re having a nice summer and that all is fine with you.
Regarding editing, there is one annoying user messing around the lists of notable players and former coaches in almost all club articles of countries of former Yugoslavia. They add enormous lists of players without any criteirum, and they seem not to speak English and understand the inclusion criteriums. Another anoying thing he does is to add nicknames into players/coaches links thus unlinking them. I already left him messages explaining things, but he ignores and din´t ever responded, and just kept on doing the same. Also, he never ever added a single source for any of his edits. I didn´t had much time lately, and I hoped he would understand and with time start doing things right, but unfortunaltely not.
These are the accounts he uses:
Just by seing his contributions you can hardly see any usefull edits, and a hell lot of useless stuff like enormous large lists of former players without any criterims, and delinking players and coaches links by adding the nicknames as he seems not to even understand what "link" is. These can be some exemples:
- Adding players which clearly don´t belong to the criteriums of inclusion, or another typical edit of his
- FK Modriča, just see the former players section. Yes, he adds every player he knows and he did this to every club article he edited.
- See the Zmago Sagadin coach case and how he delinks article by adding the silly nickname, not even knowing the logic why he does that
I already left him messages, I see other people did as well. I hoped he would get tired or start to understand how things work, but unfortunatelly he didn´t and he left a hell lot of work of cleaning behind him. What to do GS? FkpCascais (talk) 16:06, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. The missfrtune is that I don´t have much free time lately, and it is a petty to loose time reverting all his edits. The problem is also the ammount of edits he does, and it would be needed at least some hours to return all things as they were before. I could (and will) do that, but unfortunatelly there is almost a garantee that next day the task will continue. I´ll see what happends and I´ll see if I can menage to solve it somehow... Kind regards :) FkpCascais (talk) 17:03, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
- He just keeps on doing the same now with his IP account -_- FkpCascais (talk) 20:42, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
