:Hello Jessica, I'll respond because Kafziel is currently retired. It's considered a poor argument to make that ] as each page has to stand on it's own merits and not the merits of articles it's related to. As it appears that the page you're asking about was in the Articles for Creation space, I've filed a ] on your behalf asking that the page be restored to the Articles for Creation space or an explanation for how bad the advertising is on the page. Secondly, Your post suggests that you work for Anchor. Hi Kafziel, I see that you indefinitely full protected Play-Doh after some edit warring in April. Do you think that the full protection is still needed? Would you be willing to switch to semi-protection? Mark Arsten (talk) 19:10, 22 July 2013 (UTC)

The Conjuring
Regarding The Conjuring (film), I see that you moved it to The Conjuring. However, Talk:The Conjuring does not point to the film article's talk page. (I'm not sure what article that talk page belongs to.) There is also a RM discussion at Talk:The Conjuring (film) that needs to be closed. Thanks, Erik (talk | contribs) 15:48, 29 July 2013 (UTC)

FOREST LAWN MEMORIAL-PARKS Dr. Hubert L. Eaton
Thanks for your response. I think you should reconsider including my addition to this site. The site I enclosed, www.huberteaton.com is an important link relating to the history of Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks. This site is about the esteemed founder of Forest Lawn, Dr. Hubert L. Eaton. Please open this site and read all of the contents. Please let me know what you think. This is certainly NOT spam or advertising! THANKS! DANIEL H. DISNEY (Daniel Disney (talk) 21:06, 16 August 2013 (UTC)).
- Well, it kind of is advertising, if you think about it - you're trying to get people to go to that website. A website that contains information that is not verified, and in which you obviously have a personal interest. I'm not saying it's untrue or anything like that, but it wouldn't be considered a reliable source, and Misplaced Pages's focus is to give our readers independently verifiable information here, not send them to other sites. Giving people links to other sites is what Google is for.
- I hope you'll believe me when I say it's nothing personal. I love Forest Lawn. Kafziel 21:48, 16 August 2013 (UTC)

- I'm not saying all rules are absolute. I'm saying that no such rule even exists. You can't just make up a rule and decide you're going to apply it as you see fit. I don't know what "approving a disputed nomination is prejudicial" even means, but, as you say, not all rules are absolute. So I don't really have to care. This whole situation is really starting to look like harassment to me. Kafziel 19:05, 16 September 2013 (UTC)

Lyman Ward Clergyman
Kafziel, thanks for moving the article into the encyclopedia. Unfortunately, I could not find it in a search. Does it take time to update or is there some other problem? I searched using lyman ward clergyman to no avail. I edited the header to distinguish the actor and the general.
Thanks for your kind thoughts and admonition to be bold. This is my first effort and I did not want to create a stub and theonesean's editorial critique helped me write a stronger article. Regarding the addition of categories. I wrote the article with a number of them based on the articles of other clergy I researched but I would appreciate any suggestions that I did not consider. Mainly, Ward is a clergyman but he was also a politician so perhaps I imagine that I can designate political categories because he was interesting as a liberal Republican. Thanks for your help, ~~Crawford Rose~~
- Happy to help! I adjusted the "see also" that I think you were going for (I created a disambiguation page) and I'll take a look at the categories. Kafziel 19:14, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
4th Marine Expeditionary Brigade
Thank you, Marine, for taking the action that you did with the article. I have learned NEVER to submit articles to the AFC because they seem to stay there forever and molder. Perfectly good articles with citations and content are rejected routinely because someone (twit?) at AFC "just doesn't get it".
I didn't create the article, but the person who did asked for some help, so I pitched-in and reorganized the references and citations as well as some content. Now the article can live and breathe on its own merits. It still needs work, but possibly more people will work on it now that it isn't tied up in "limbo". I will "watch" the article for a while and see how it progresses; hopefully some Marine Wikipedian will take the ball and run with it...but if they don't, if this Coast Guardsman has the time, I will try to shape it up to B class standards.

- Good to meet you! Glad I could help. The AFC backlog is ridiculous, so I'm moving them into the article space to let them sink or swim. Crazy how many perfectly fine articles are just sitting there, forgotten. They've done a great job of fooling everyone into thinking they have some kind of authority, when it's really just another wikiproject. So some bureaucrats are less than pleased with me for ignoring all their procedural stuff, but I'm a firm believer that our first job should always be writing the encyclopedia. Damn the torpedoes. - Being a real person isn't enough to justify a Misplaced Pages article. See our notability guidelines for more information on that. Most importantly, though, biographies of living people require reliable sources. Your article was tagged for deletion for more than 10 days with no reliable sources, so it was deleted (along with many others). It's nothing personal. Kafziel 21:44, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

i posted a link to his facebook to prove he was a real person , i looked up info on how to prove it's a real person and one option was link a facebook and i did that , and it was still deleted..

- All you have to do is click the links I provided above, to see what kind of sources are required. I can't force you to read them if you don't want to, but I will tell you right now, Facebook is not on the list. Anyone can make a Facebook page. TestAuditor
Hi I see you have deleted a page called TestAuditor. The reason provided is "Unambiguous advertising or promotion". However this is not the case. Is so then all the products in issue tracking system would be also promotional.
The article is covering a product that is one of these issue tracking systems and they can only be added to a list like this is there is an article.
There are real benefits from users in knowing what is available in the market. The article in the next generation of the product QCReporting. Please can you explain how the article could be seen as "Unambiguous advertising or promotion" or are you ok for me to give it another try?
SamBardon (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:42, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
- I deleted it as unambiguous advertising or promotion because it was unambiguous advertising or promotion. "Letting users know what's available in the market" is the very definition of advertising. Articles for Creation is a place to create legitimate articles, not to host spam indefinitely. If you plan to "give it another try", I suggest you read this first. Kafziel 15:03, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
- OK, I take your point, but all articles on Wiki issue tracking system will also let user know what is in the market. Are they all advertising? Or is the TestAuditor article just letting user know there is a 'next stage' for QCReporting? Because users have a right to know the old QCReporting product has been superseded by a new one. Can you explain how it is advertising campared to other products in the issue tracking system list. If I were to create it without code or much information would that be ok to you? SamBardon (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 10:26, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
Skimlinks
Hi, thanks for reviewing my article over at Articles for creation. However, it seems that instead of giving it a submission denied template, you deleted the content altogether. Can you please reinstate it with the appropriate template so that I can build on the article and make it suitable for Misplaced Pages? Also, I understand from this talk page that you have a certain dislike for "procedural stuff" but this was the first article I created and seeing it deleted with no notice whatsoever was extremely unpleasant. Getting some proper feedback and a note on my talk page notifying me of the deletion as stated in the project would have been appreciated.
I've posted the same comment/request over at the project's talk page if you want to comment on there as well. Juniper4589 (talk) 15:00, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
- Fair enough. I'll make you a compromise - I'll restore it, but not back into AfC. I'll put it into the article space and let it go through Articles for Deletion instead. If it passes, cool. Kafziel 15:10, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to do that. Why will you not restore it in AfC though? I purposely used AfC to submit it because I knew the risks involved in writing an article about a company in terms of it sounding too promotional (plus it's my first time creating an article and I really was looking forward to getting constructive feedback). I tried to make it sound as "non-advertisy" as possible - I realise you're probably very busy but would you mind re-instating it AfC and pointing out which bits I need to work on? I was aiming to emulate the tone of Mind Candy and VigLink; are those not good examples for companies of Skimlinks' size and industry? Thanks! Juniper4589 (talk) 15:20, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
- I'm not putting it in AfC because I don't believe articles should just be allowed to sit out there indefinitely. I'm tired of hearing about the AfC backlog, so I'm taking care of it myself. We are supposed to be writing an encyclopedia that anyone can edit; articles should be created in the article space and edited by the whole community. You are free to edit it in the article space along with everyone else. Kafziel 15:24, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
- If it makes you feel any better, I won't be arguing the AfD nomination. I'm leaving it up to the community to decide, and you'll probably get feedback there if you want it. Kafziel 15:29, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
- I see your point, but I see the AfC more as a training ground for people like me who don't feel confident enough in their article writing skills to create a full blown article from the start. It allows us to write something in a safe environment, safe from deletion, and with the support we need to do something good. If that involves waiting a few weeks for feedback, I personally don't mind! I'm assuming it's also a form of quality control for Misplaced Pages, to filter as many bad articles as possible... Anyways, I guess I'll just comment on the article's deletion page from now on and wait for feedback. Juniper4589 (talk) 18:16, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
- I'm sure you don't mind waiting a few weeks, but AfC has a backlog of 2,000 articles (not to mention the ridiculous tens of thousands of expired and declined reviews) so at some point, you have to sink or swim. All of Misplaced Pages is a "safe environment" in terms of collaboration, and no part of it is safe from deletion. AfC is meant to be basic quality control; a way for anonymous users (who can't create new articles) to work on them and have someone else post them. It's not meant to be a training ground, or a secret spot to get articles to Featured status or something. If it's good enough to survive a speedy deletion (and, after a certain point, even if it isn't) it's time to put it out in the world. Every article on Misplaced Pages is a work in progress. Kafziel 18:22, 22 November 2013 (UTC)

Please use the proper procedure for aproving drafts at AfC
You recently did a simple move of Misplaced Pages talk:Articles for creation/Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program to Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program instead of using the AFCH script. As a result a number of processes such as automatic cleanup, placement of Categories and WikiProject templates, etc. were not done. In future please use the proper procedure, manually performing the tasks the script normally does takes a lot of unnecessary time and effort. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 19:39, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

Munjed Al Muderis article nominated for deletion
Hi Kafziel, I was just wondering why you have nominated the article I created about Munjed Al Muderis for deletion. He is a noteworthy person according to Misplaced Pages's guidelines and there is sufficient references used throughout the article. However, if it is a referencing issue I can add some more references as there is multiple mentions of him in the current issues of a couple of prominent Australian monthly current affairs magazines.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Cheers, Miranda
Miranda Cashin (talk) 00:48, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- I was also the one who moved it out of AfC and into the actual encyclopedia. If it survives AfD, it's live and here to stay, instead of languishing in limbo for months or years on end. You're welcome. Kafziel 04:20, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
EXNESS
Hello, Kafziel!
My name is Julia Tretyakova, I am the PR Department Head of the EXNESS company. On 21th of November you had deleted the topic about EXNESS company, which I was created. Would you be so kind, please, reestablish this article. I really don't understand why you deleted it, because we tried to correct every mistake in right way, which was given by users of Misplaced Pages. Our article contained only factual infromation about company and didn't contain any ads.
Please, describe in details about the reason of deleting the article and also please tell me what should I do to get approve of the article. It will be better to communicate through email. Please, write an answer on julia.tretyakova@exness.com or maria.voloshina@exness.com (PR manager).
Thank you for your attention and for understanding!

Submission: IgnitionDeck
You deleted the page I created called 'IgnitionDeck' citing unambiguous advertising. This was after another reviewer asked for additional valid sources, which were provided.
According to WIkipedia, this applies to "Pages that are exclusively promotional, and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to become encyclopedic," which is not the case at all.
In fact: "If a subject is notable and the content can be replaced with text that complies with neutral point of view, this is preferable to deletion."
The subject of crowdfunding, and within that subject, DIY Crowdfunding is a valid topic, and being that IgnitionDeck is the leader in that space and the product behind the Star Citizen campaign (which has been written about in spades), a page needs to exist in order to complete the story.
I'd like you to share what I can do for reconsideration, and additionally, see which passages you felt were promotional in nature. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nhangen (talk • contribs) 15:28, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- You can add all the sources you want, but if it's unambiguous advertising then it can still be deleted. You have an obvious conflict of interest here. A simple rule of thumb: If it were really notable, then don't you think someone else would write the article in due course? Do you think Kickstarter had to have an employee come in and create their article? I know how you feel but that doesn't make it okay. Kafziel 16:40, 30 November 2013 (UTC)

Submission: OrderUp
Hi, I just read the note from 'IgnitionDeck,' and you did the same thing to the page I created called 'OrderUp,' deleting it citing unambiguous advertising. I disclosed that I had a conflict of interest, yes, but I don't necessarily believe that someone else would create a page on this notable topic eventually. Misplaced Pages editors are all busy volunteers, so why not help where I can.
I've submitted a page with a conflict of interest before, but editors worked with me to cut out any parts they felt were not neutral. Would you be open to helping me with this article so we can get it on Misplaced Pages? I'm happy to recreate the page so you can pinpoint which elements of the article you felt were not neutral. The article was cited extensively with significant secondary sources, so it's definitely notable. I'd look forward to your help! Socialmedia2011 (talk) 16:00, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
- I see you've edited your userpage to try to minimize your status as a paid contributor. And removed your assurance that you won't be editing any articles related to Angel, which I suppose is good since you have edited the Angel article no less than a dozen times since you made that promise. If you're really interested in helping, why not edit some articles you're not being paid to edit? Why not reduce the workload on all us volunteer editors by not making us waste time helping you advertise for free?
- Articles for Creation is not a free safe haven for people to post whatever they please and experiment with gaming the system. It's a temporary holding location for unregistered users to get help because they are not able to create articles on their own. People abusing that process is why there is currently a backlog of more than 40,000 declined articles, and I'm not going to help add to that. Kafziel 17:37, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
I'm really not sure how you think that my talk page was edited to minimize my status as a paid contributor, as it states "I started this account so that I could help provide information for clients' pages." I also state "I will not engage in editing directly any client-related page." I have not edited Angel's page since 2011 when I was working closely with Misplaced Pages editors.
Since you're not interested in helping me, could you restore the article so I could at least copy it to my sandbox and find another Misplaced Pages editor who's willing to help me? I'm not trying to game the system or advertise for free, just trying to create an article about a notable company, my client.

Proposed deletion of Rakeshwar Pandey
The article Rakeshwar Pandey has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
AfC reviews
I'm a little concerned by your recent reviews of AfC drafts. Unless I miss something, you seem to be either accepting or deleting drafts, with nothing in between, and some of your deletions seem problematic. For example, this was an A7 deletion of a page outside the mainspace; I don't think that's appropriate (also, for all the draft's other flaws, I don't think that A7 would be a valid rationale for a CEO). This draft was not eligible for G13 since it had been actively edited in October; a histmerge would probably have been a better solution. Here you speedied an article minutes after moving it into articlespace yourself. And this edit leaves me completely baffled. I don't think the methods you employ against the backlog enjoy community consensus and would ask you to reconsider. Huon (talk) 01:11, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
- AfC is just a WikiProject. They have no special authority, and I'm not a member, so I don't follow their rules (a stance which, unlike AfC's rules, actually does have the weight of policy). I remember the Damaris one - I moved it into the main space, took a second look, found it incomprehensible, and reconsidered. Can't say I remember the rest, but I've made mistakes before and I probably will again from time to time. Doesn't mean I'm not going to keep working on articles. Until the AfC Wikiproject cleans out their backlog of forty thousand pages, I don't think I'll take their advice on how best to edit Misplaced Pages. For my part, I've processed hundreds of articles out of the backlog; if you want to spend your time poring over every one, knock yourself out. I'll be spending my time processing more. Kafziel 04:41, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
- Hi there, I am a member of the AFC project and if you're you're to misquote and abuse the project's goodwill I'm going to have to ask you to immediately cease any activities on behalf of the AfC project or I will have to open a emergency block request to prevent you from causing damage to both the encyclopedia as a whole and to the AfC project. You've been asked by an administrator to explain yourself, and now you're being asked by a member of AfC to explain yourself. IAR does not apply in this case as you are not improving the encyclopedia with your actions Hasteur (talk) 04:54, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
- Don't use IAR as an excuse to do whatever you like. IAR is only for edits that may be against policy but is undisputedly appropriate. AfC guidelines may not be policy, but they are widely accepted and have gained consensus and you are not allowed to override it. Again, don't use IAR as an excuse, it doesn't apply here. If you refuse to stop interfering with AfC, I will open an ArbCom case against you. Darylgolden 12:47, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

Working on backlogs
Hello Kafziel. Concerns have been raised regarding your uncollegiate / individualistic procedures in regard to Articles for Creation. Given that there are numerous areas on Misplaced Pages where you can help out, and we have numerous WP:Backlogs, including over 75,000 BLP articles lacking sources, it might be diplomatic (and less stressful for yourself as well as the others concerned) to work in areas where you are not causing unrest, and where your skills would be more appreciated. As you appear to have an interest in, and some experience of promotional articles, you might consider putting your shoulder behind Category:Articles with a promotional tone. These are articles which are already live on Misplaced Pages, and some have been around for many years. Because they are not recently created they tend to get overlooked; yet the longer an article exists on Misplaced Pages the more it gets mirrored around the Internet. Some assistance on sorting that out would be appreciated. SilkTork 09:17, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
- No thanks. Not interested in adding sources to BLPs. Interested in helping users avoid abuse at the hands of AfC, and making sure that Misplaced Pages remains free and open. Kafziel 18:21, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

Arbcom notice
You are involved in a recently filed request for arbitration. Please review the request at Misplaced Pages:Arbitration/Requests#Kafziel's AfC actions and, if you wish to do so, enter your statement and any other material you wish to submit to the Arbitration Committee. Additionally, the following resources may be of use—
Thanks, Hasteur (talk) 16:21, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
Hey Kafziel, sorry to see you're stuck with this arbcom matter...I happened to come across it at AN/I when battling my own matter recently and have to say I don't see anything wrong in your actions. You've always been fair with me and by the book in all matters, and I'm sure the same will be found here. If I can do anything to help, just let me know. --ColonelHenry (talk) 02:01, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
- Saddened to see you retire, but I understand entirely. Only so much bullshit one should have to put up with, and the witchhunt is not worth your time. No matter what you've said on the matter, the project is worse off with you departing--a fair, honest, no-nonsense admin; a great contributor; and an all-around good man. Best of luck, and if you need anything down the road, don't be a stranger.--ColonelHenry (talk) 22:52, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
Arbitration
As stated on the arbitration page, I have granted your request that I recuse myself in the request for arbitration to which you are a party. While it is not clear to me that recusal is warranted based on a short interaction between the two of us seven months ago, since you feel otherwise I have stepped aside and will let the other arbitrators address the matter. Regards, Newyorkbrad (talk) 14:12, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
Kafziel arbitration case opened
You were recently listed as a party to a request for arbitration. The Arbitration Committee has accepted that request for arbitration and an arbitration case has been opened at Misplaced Pages:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Kafziel. Evidence that you wish the arbitrators to consider should be added to the evidence subpage, at Misplaced Pages:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Kafziel/Evidence. Please add your evidence by December 29, 2013, which is when the evidence phase closes. You can also contribute to the case workshop subpage, Misplaced Pages:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Kafziel/Workshop. For a guide to the arbitration process, see Misplaced Pages:Arbitration/Guide to arbitration. For the Arbitration Committee, Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 09:46, 15 December 2013 (UTC)
Why?
I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed at your retirement. I've disliked and spoken out against some of the things you've done here, but in this case, I thought you were 100% correct. I admired your actions as well as the way you stood your ground. Retiring this far from the finish-line seems contradictory to your earlier stance. I wouldn't blame you for walking away in disgust if the ArbCom case ends in disappointment; we're a long way from there. You clearly have strong feelings about the sovereignty of AfC; I and others agree with you. Your statement, "I won't be watching or participating" in a case about which you are obviously passionate is saddening. Joefromrandb (talk) 18:42, 16 December 2013 (UTC)

"If there's anything I can do to help, please leave me a message"
Per your userpage statement. I posted a long message at your talk before that gets hotly deleted by one or other administrative participant, and I'll paste it for reference below, but to homage your cut-through-the-bull style, here's the nutshell. I'm falsely blocked for socking by some cyberbullies posing as Misplaced Pages administrators and it's been affirmed by a crowd of suspicion mongers. There's no truth to any of it. If you see fit to unblock me, I'd endeavor to live up to the best interests of the project, if not no hard feelings and peace to you. Colton Cosmic. (See also below.)
Will You Review My Permanent Block
Hi Kafziel, excuse me for IP block-evading, but I've been non-policy handled and feel I have no other real choice to appeal my block. Timotheus Canens (pre-arbship) no warn/no diff/no discussion permanently blocked me last year. He clicked a button that spat out some preset text with a link to WP:SOCK and thus basically terminated my editing hobby of five or six years. I reacted with some frustration, taking the charge as a slur on my honesty (which it is), and with the inexperience of a content editor that had never really been exposed except very recently to the administrative side of Misplaced Pages. Very quickly like five or six WP:AN/ANI personalities descended on my talkpage, each suspicious and with a different accusatory theory, me not even knowing who the heck they were, which was an administrator and which not. I found my block affirmed on basis "did not accept Bwilkins' offer to examine my pre-cleanstart account and consider unblocking." I knew Bwilkins not, except that he was threatening to block my talkpage. There was no trust basis for anything like that.
I had cleanstarted for privacy; my prior account was never so much as warned, but circumstances on and off Misplaced Pages had called my attention to privacy matters and I realized the account was vulnerable. As my tribulations have considered ever since, suspicions (unwarranted by my edits I do believe) have swirled about the previous account. Silktork and Mastcell for example have separately concocted theories about banned or sanctioned editors they supposed I've been. Mastcell merely detailedly accused it at WP:AN/ANI. Silktork kept his theory close to vest when I appealed to WP:BASC, not even telling me, secret accusation complete with secret evidence, with the result of course that I was in the dark even as to his suspicion, and totally unable to defend the point.
A steady demand was laid out as I continued to try to appeal. The demand was that I disclose my previous account before appeal would even be considered. I said "wait, WP:CLEANSTART says specifically I don't have to do that" plus what of my privacy concerns? This was nearly always met with silence. However I eventually contacted Jimmy Wales. Jimbo was the first and only to offer me confidentiality as to my previous account. He said he would treat my appeal favorably if the account checked out. I didn't like this, but it was Jimbo, so I did it. The account is without warnings or blocks or sanctions, ever. Jimbo checked the account. He then shocked me and broke our agreement by telling me I must further disclose the account to Arbcom, meaning as you know the entire list and everyone who'll ever be on it due to their archive. Of course I asked him for his reasoning, and why he discounted my privacy concerns. He ceased responding to my emails.
Anyhow, I hope you will have a look. I hope you are an administrator who doesn't automatically defer to hierarchy (i.e. "Arbcom touched this and I better not") and instead looks to policy rationales for what has occurred. You may fall back on my word to you that I never did what I'm blocked for. If you help me you will never be embarrassed on that score. I never socked Misplaced Pages. I edited in a single prior account and switched to the current, never going back or even editing the same stuff, never communicating with the same editors (less one random re-encountering, friendly under both circumstances) and certainly never revisiting feuds (in fact I never had any). In closing, I am current stealth-blocked at my talkpage (i.e. no explanation offered for it at the page), if you see fit to unblock me there, I'll cease IP block evasion and answer any questions you have. Thanks, and this is Colton Cosmic. PS: I am also a DLI grad.
search indexing
You wrote:
Can you give an example of this? I.e. can you give a name of a company that I can type into Google, and see AfC pages in the returned results? I tried unsuccessfully to do this, and it seems to me that the noindex tags are working, though it's improperly sending follow instead of nofollow. I wrote about this at /Evidence in the arb case. I think your moving those submissions into article space actually made the problem worse, since article space is indexed by Google. I agree with your wanting to defend the project from spammers, but I think your methods haven't been working very well and you got into a bunch of unnecessary conflict with other good faith users. 50.0.121.102 (talk) 14:52, 17 December 2013 (UTC)

My posts to the Gillibrand page
I do appreciate the fact that you personally think my posts were too opinionated, but they were based on fact. The fact is that Senator Gillibrand DID visit various companies in Upstate NY 'selling' a Bill that has no chance of passing into law, has had only 6 co sponsors, one of whom IS deceased. Where is the problem there and are you in any way shape or form connected politically to her office/campaigns etc? Information regarding deleted page - Anchor Managed Hosting
Hi Kafzeil,
I was just after some further information regarding the deletion of a page I recently created - Anchor Managed Hosting.
It states that the deletion reason was due to (G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion). Can you please share some further information on this? I've noticed that there are many other companies similar to us with pages sharing this information such as Rackspace, Ninefold and Macquarie Telecom.
Can you please also send me a copy of the deleted page so I can fix the content to resolve this issue, and re-post?

- Hello Jessica, I'll respond because Kafziel is currently retired. It's considered a poor argument to make that "Pages for our competitors exist, so ours should too" as each page has to stand on it's own merits and not the merits of articles it's related to. As it appears that the page you're asking about was in the Articles for Creation space, I've filed a petition on your behalf asking that the page be restored to the Articles for Creation space or an explanation for how bad the advertising is on the page. Secondly, Your post suggests that you work for Anchor. It might be a very good idea to read the Conflict of Interest guidelines to understand exactly what you will and will not be allowed to do with respect to the article.
