Small categories...
Would you please stop mass creating exceedingly small, pointless, and/or fan-ish categories? If there are, at best, 2 or 3 articles that woulds fit in the category, it should not exist. Even cases where you are creating them for 6 or so articles it is hard to justify them.
Thanks,
- J Greb (talk) 20:31, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hello, I would like reiterate this point. Categories exist for navigational purposes between articles, so if a category has only one entry then it serves no purpose. Also all categories must be supported by verified claims made in the article.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 14:48, 12 March 2013 (UTC)

Super Megaforce
Multiple issues here:
- A photograph that is labeled as not being known as legitimate or a fan mock up is not a reliable source
- A photograph on some fan page on Facebook is not a reliable source
- Your identification that it depicts items from Gokaiger is original research because there's nothing in that photograph that explicitly says "THIS COMES FROM KAIZOKU SENTAI GOKAIGER" as the only reason you know that it does is because you watched Gokaiger. The lay person with no knowledge of Super Sentai or Power Rangers would have no idea what that is. This is the same god damn issue that came up before the premiere of Megaforce and everyone just had to put Goseiger on the page.
In short: Do not post that link again. Do not use fansites or fan blogs or fanwhatevers as reliable sources. Do not say anything about "Super Megaforce" until Saban issues a press release, starts selling the toys under that name, or makes some sort of statement at Power Morphicon this August. And do not mention Gokaiger until that word explicitly shows up in regards to anything Power Rangers.—Ryulong (琉竜) 05:24, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions. One of your recent contributions to Amy Adams filmography has been reverted or removed, because it contains speculative or unconfirmed information about a future event. Please only add material about future events if it is verifiable, based on a reference to a reliable source. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 15:50, 23 July 2013 (UTC)

Hello. I apologize for reverting your edits, but as you did not format your source correctly (which other editors seem to have taken issue with) and the link was not correct, there was not way to verify the information you added. I have gone and readded the information with the proper url and formatting. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 22:24, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Eddie Brock
Hi. Your edit to Eddie Brock had to be reverted for the following two reasons:
1. The webpage linked in the citation you added did not contain any mention of any short film.
2. Even if the webpage did contain mention of such a film, an anonymous user's YouTube account is not a reliable source under WP:IRS. Reliable, secondary sources are needed for material like this. Sites with user-generated content, such as imdb, open forums and message boards, other wikis, etc., are not reliable because anyone can create content in those venues.
If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 01:28, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Hi. Please stop adding the above-mentioned unsourced material to the Eddie Brock article, as you did when you reverted my edit here. As I stated above, there is no video at the YouTube you linked to (which merely leads to YouTube's main page), and in any event, sources cited in articles have to be those that are considered reliable under the WP:IRS policy. Please familiarize yourself with the policies I have linked you to here. Having accumulated over 6,800 edits on Misplaced Pages since 2009, you should have already done this by now.
- Also, you might want to use the preview function to check you edits before saving them, or at least do so after saving them, in order to address things like unneeded line breaks, or the formatting of plain text passages with italics that do not merit italics. In phrases like "a film version of The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", the phrase "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." should be italicized because it is the name of the film, but the phrase "a film version of" should not be. If need anything else, let me know. Thank you. Nightscream (talk) 13:38, 1 August 2013 (UTC)

Hello. While the addition of the newly-revealed materials is appreciated, it didn't belong in the plot section with your personal interpretation of the materials. You may have noticed, but what you were referencing is already present in the development section in a neutral and non-perceptive format. All that is really present about the plot is that it details the first interactions between the humans and the orcs, and that there are a number of locations that are present. Nonetheless, I appreciate your enthusiasm with your addition. DarthBotto talk•cont 23:58, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Citing websites
Let's start this over from the beginning. I have been trying to get you to correct your formatting when you post website references for a long time. When you continued to do the same poor posts after multiple warnings I got very frustrated and I typed some inappropriate things. I sincerely apologize for all of the negative comments I made about you. Now can we work together to make Misplaced Pages better instead of continuing to fight? Below are numerous examples of myself and other editors fixing the formatting of the references you add. They all have the same finished formatting so it should be easy to understand. However, if you have any questions, please ask me. Ask your questions here or on my talk page. I also want to let you know that if your behavior continues to be disruptive by not properly formatting your web references I can bring this to an administrator's attention and you can be blocked from Misplaced Pages. So please work on it. Spidey104 14:16, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
Examples: , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,
- All of these (, , , , , ) are you continuing to add things with bad formatting. Look at the examples I have given you and correct this disruptive behavior. Spidey104 03:39, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
- Stop this already. Properly format your references like this. You have been warned repeatedly and if you continue with this disruptive editing you may be blocked from editing. Spidey104 14:55, 10 January 2014 (UTC)

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice:{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Drmies (talk) 00:58, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
- The problem isn't just that your edits are often subpar (like this one, in a Good Article), but that you refuse to acknowledge that this is causing unnecessary work for other editors. You didn't respond to the ANI thread, you don't respond to editors' concerns on your talk page, and that cannot be in a collaborative project. Drmies (talk) 01:00, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
- When the block expires and you are able to edit again you must start improving your edits and start responding to messages about any problems or you will be blocked again, but for longer. If you do not understand what the problem is just ASK. Spidey104 13:27, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- I had to revert your edits on Barbarella (comics), The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Talia al Ghul, Man-Bat, and Damian Wayne. Favre1fan93 had to revert your edit on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Did you learn nothing from your block? Please start improving your edits and please start responding to messages, or you will be blocked again. Spidey104 15:27, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
sorry man. Lg16spears (talk) 18:31, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you. These edits (, , , , ) are all greatly improved from what you've done before. The only thing you really missed was to include |url= before the website. Also, try to format the date in the same way that the rest of the references in the article do. This is an example of the minor fix I had to do to all of those edits, so not bad. If you can keep adding them this way we won't have a problem anymore. So please keep this up. However, if you revert back to your bad old ways you will get in trouble again, and if a new problem arises respond to the post on your message board or it can escalate into something larger than it would have been if you had responded. Spidey104 20:13, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
- This is Favre1fan93's correction of your edit. This edit was removed because Misplaced Pages is not a diary, but the formatting of the reference you added was perfect. Keep up the good work with adding references; try to work on your grammar and start adding edit summaries. Spidey104 19:28, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
