Turkey
The addition of more informations about climate was requested several times in the feedback page, the addition of more images wasn't. There's no need for even more decorative images. The same goes for adding back those corporate logos: they just don't belong to a country-level article.--eh bien mon prince (talk) 19:50, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for your recent edits on the Turkey page. It was very good. --Ahmet Gürsakal (talk) 22:35, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
- I would also like to thank you for your great edits, keep up the good work! :-) Lord of Rivendell (talk) 16:16, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
Turkey again
In the etymology section, I added a source that says that by 'Turks' Constantine VII referred to Magyars. The source says, word by word: "By Turks Constantine always means the Magyars". You removed 'Magyars' and added back in its place 'the people of medieval Hungary'. Instead of looking for new sources for this old and previously unsourced claim, you just shuffled around old citations to make it seem like they're saying that. That is dishonest, and is considered vandalism of the worst kind.--eh bien mon prince (talk) 09:35, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
Istanbul
Hello,
about this image there has been a lengthy discussion a couple of months ago, and consensus has been established for the silhouette. If you don't agree, please revert your change and start a thread. Alex2006 (talk) 11:12, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, I added it to the Architecture section. Thank you for the clarification. Lord of Rivendell (talk) 16:05, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
Edit warring block
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring, as you did at Turkey. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice:{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. only (talk) 16:44, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
Edit summary needed
Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. Please make sure to include an edit summary with every edit. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history.
The edit summary appears in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list and
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Frze 02:29, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
Use Preview button
Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. Regarding your edits to Turkey , it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. --Frze 02:29, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
A reference problem
Hi! Some users have been working hard on Category:Pages with broken reference names.
Here you added a new reference <ref name="ottomu"/> but didn't define it. This has been showing as an error at the bottom of the article. "Cite error: The named reference REFNAME
was invoked but never defined (see the help page)." Can you take a look and work out what you were trying to do? Thanks -- Frze 02:46, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 18
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Turkey, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cinema (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Username changed
Hey, Elrond, I've changed your username, as requested. Be sure to use this as your username when you log in from now on; if you're automatically logged in on any devices, it might be a good idea to log out and log in with the new username, just to be safe. Discussion on the talk page of the Turkey article
Hi Rivendell, there is an ongoing discussion about the current state of the Turkey article, including a discussion about your recent efforts to expand the article. You are invited to contribute to the debate and your opinion is welcome. Cheers,--eh bien mon prince (talk) 12:18, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
February 2014
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Turkey. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
You are expected to discuss your objections to changes in the talk page, rather than reverting without a meaningful explanation. You do not have ownership over the article, and you are required to abide the community consensus, just like everyone else. eh bien mon prince (talk) 23:06, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Template:Largest cities in Turkey shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. The Banner talk 21:38, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
