Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Pointy AFD nomination of Western Azerbaijan regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The discussion is about the topic Western Azerbaijan. Thank you. Strange Passerby (talkcstatus) 08:37, 17 October 2010 (UTC) xeris aper

Nagorno-Karabakh Autnomous Oblast

Hello, I had edited a part of this article which said " Had Turkey not been an issue, Stalin would probably have left Karabakh under Armenian control" which was referenced to Robert Service (2006). I deleted this sentence as it does not show any justification or proof for such a strong statement, and furthermore delievers no political motive for this opinion. Alone the word "probably" is a clear indicator that such a statement should not appear on Misplaced Pages, and whoever the author of this sentence is shows clearly a non-neutral position to this topic. As Misplaced Pages is supposed to not get involved into any political debates and take sides, I demand this sentence to be removed as it shows severe political incorrectness. Afterall, only Stalin alone can say what he probably would have done under different circumstances. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.146.198.91 (talk) 16:43, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

It has already been discussed in the talk page, the line stays. Ninetoyadome (talk) 18:31, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

Guba Mass grave

Your actions evidently indicate a vandalism-only account in Guba mass grave as you are not allowed to put one sided information and therefore let this to be warning. You have already have track of vandalism like in here in here, by adding president over athlete's name http://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=Azerbaijan_at_the_2008_Summer_Olympics&diff=prev&oldid=230913536

In the second attempt, admins will ban you for this type of actions.--NovaSkola 16:45, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages Help Survey

Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Misplaced Pages's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. It should take less than 10 minutes, and your responses will not be tied to your username in any way.

Thank you for your time,

Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive772

Please do not add comments to archived discussions. I have reverted your edits to Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive772. If you need to, please start a new discussion. Regards, GiantSnowman 08:04, 16 October 2012 (UTC)

FYI - I have blocked Vardan Zavenich (talk · contribs); a full list of suspected sockpuppets can be found at Category:Suspected Misplaced Pages sockpuppets of KunoxTxa - please let me know if you find any more. GiantSnowman 08:16, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
Firstly you should tag the user page, not the talk oage. Secondly a block and a ban are two different things. Thirdly, no, tagging doesn't result in a block - try AIV or SPI. I have now blocked Qajik. Regards, GiantSnowman 17:01, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

re Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast

You have to specify on the talk page the POV problems you see. Otherwise, the notice will be removed. --Golbez (talk) 19:23, 31 December 2012 (UTC)

Edit war on Ben Yagan

Hello. You appear to be involved in an edit war on Ben Yagan.

While the three-revert rule is hard and fast, please be aware that you can be blocked for edit warring without making 3 reverts to an article in 24 hours. You are not entitled to 3 reverts and edit wars may be slow-moving, spanning weeks or months. Edit wars are not limited to 24 hours.

If you are unclear how to resolve a content dispute, please see dispute resolution. You are expected to cooperatively engage other editors on talk pages rather than reverting their edits. Note that posting your thoughts on the talk page alone is not a license to continue reverting. You must reach consensus.

If you feel your edits might qualify as one of the small list of exceptions, please apply them with caution and ensure that anyone looking at your edits will come to the same conclusion. If you are uncertain, seek clarification before continuing. Quite a few editors have found themselves blocked for misunderstanding and/or misapplying these exceptions. Often times, requesting page protection or a sockppuppet investigation is a much better course of action.

Continued edit warring on Ben Yagan or any other article may cause you to be blocked without further notice. Toddst1 (talk) 12:38, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

Soghomon Tehlirian

Hi,

You have removed the section below I have entered to Soghomon Tehlirian which is a fact, and reference was made to armenews.com

Could you please state on what basis you have decided to remove this ?

even though his release by German court on murder of Talat Pasha based on his insanity.

Malizengin (talk) 03:02, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

Why would that part even be significant? Ninetoyadome (talk) 03:43, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

You are right to remove it from there as it sounds bit offensive in complete sentence. But in general, this information is important on summary of the article where it relays all the information in summary, leading events and results etc. Thanks, Malizengin (talk) 06:56, 24 May 2013 (UTC) You removed another edit there, mentioning it is mentioned in trial section, everything there in summary is mentioned later in details. But summary is where all important aspects of the article should be outlined. It is mentioned there court released him. But court released him on insanity and not on basis court didn't find him innocent. Don't you agree ? Please before removing and we spend time discuss. I am being constructive while you are not showing same positive attitude, thanks, Malizengin (talk) 07:04, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Armenian Genocide

You have reverted below sections without any basis,

{ Austin Henry Layard's confidential report which was sent on 25th March 1878 with reference number of 401, states.... }

  • A book written by same person might say Armenians massacred. But the section I entered is about living conditions of Armenians in 1878. Section I entered is official British document, all reference number and date and reference is given. So it is correct therefore I appreciate either you give reasonable and logical reason for removing or please undo,

Another part you have removed is

{Report of Charles Blunt, British Consul to Ottoman Empire gives more light to life of Armenians under Ottoman Rule, the report is dated 1860, .....}

  • Please explain why you have removed this part ? it is again official British documents. You may like or not what is written there, but document is a document and it is relevant to topic and will be helpful making research on the subject.

Either please give the reasons -not subjective but objective- and if you don't have reasons please undo to prevent edit war and further claims.

Post the "confidential" report. I can't find this report online, somehow the author is the only one who has it? Countless eyewitness reports state Armenians were treated as second class citizens. Ninetoyadome (talk) 07:00, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

it is from a book with ISBN 975-16-0139-8 and page numbers are indicated. You don't find it online doesn't mean it is not real. You should pay and buy books. This article has lots of references to webpages which can be written by anybody. This is a book prepared based on real documents with all reference numbers to original documents. You may consult to UK archives or http://kohatest.univ-aix-marseille.fr/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=335674 for the book. If you don't have any more reasons, could you please undo you revert of changes ?Malizengin (talk) 07:17, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

insane accusations of insanity

I could care less if Soghomon Tehlirian was excused on the grounds that he was insane. But no where in his trial record does it say he was deemed innocent on the grounds of insanity:

I avow with honor and clear conscience to the verdict of the jury:

“Is the defendant, Soghomon Tehlirian, guilty of having intentionally
killed a man, Talaat Pasha, on March 15, 1921, in Charlottenburg?”

Signed: Otto Reinecke, Foreman of the jury.
(There is a great deal of commotion and applause in the courtroom)
PRESIDING JUSTICE — I now sign the verdict and I ask the clerk to do
the same and read the verdict out loud.
(The secretary reads the verdict and it is translated for the defendant)
PRESIDING JUSTICE — Therefore, the following sentence is issued:
“The defendant is acquitted at the expense of the state treasury.
(Renewed commotion and applause) In accordance with the decision of
the jury, the defendant is not guilty of the punishable act with which he
has been charged.”
Then the following decision is announced:
“The order of imprisonment as regards the defendant is hereby annulled.”
(The defendant is congratulated by his defense attorneys, his com-

patriots, and the pub/k in attendance.)

Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Misplaced Pages, satisfy any standard of behavior, or follow any normal editorial process. This warning is for edit-warring and non-neutral editing, as discussed in response to a recent arbitration enforcement request.  Sandstein  06:13, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

AE report

He's already topic banned for six months and that's just for edit-warring. It is just a matter of spending our time and energy to file an AE to further his sanctions. Proudbolsahye (talk) 06:31, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Go ahead reverting it. If people has objections they can express their opinions in the already opened topic in the talk page. Proudbolsahye (talk) 21:25, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

The boundary and Geography of Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia & Kingdom of Armenia (antiquity); Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia & Kingdom of Armenia (antiquity) are not a part of Anatolian History!! 68.100.160.250 (talk) 19:15, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

This means that their Historical boundaries were never overlapped and enter into Anatolia, which may be well-new definition for the Middle East. 68.100.160.250 (talk) 19:21, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Hello! There is a DR/N request you may have interest in.

This message is being sent to let you know of a discussion at the Misplaced Pages:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute discussion you may have participated in. Content disputes can hold up article development and make editing difficult for editors. You are not required to participate, but you are both invited and encouraged to help find a resolution. The thread is "Talk:Khojaly Massacre#Number_of_civilians_affected". Please join us to help form a consensus. Thank you!-- — KeithbobTalk18:42, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
