Note to admins reviewing any of my admin actions (expand to read).

I am often busy in that "real life" of which you may have read.

Blocks are the most serious things we can do: they prevent users from interacting with Misplaced Pages. Block reviews are urgent. Unless I say otherwise in the block message on the user's talk page, I am happy for any uninvolved admin to unblock a user I have blocked, provided that there is good evidence that the problem that caused the block will not be repeated. All I ask is that you leave a courtesy note here and/or on WP:ANI, and that you are open to re-blocking if I believe the problem is not resolved - in other words, you can undo the block, but if I strongly feel that the issue is still live, you re-block and we take it to the admin boards. The same applies in spades to blocks with talk page access revoked. You are free to restore talk page access of a user for whom I have revoked it, unless it's been imposed or restored following debate on the admin boards.

User:DGG also has my permission to undelete or unprotect any article I have deleted and/or salted, with the same request to leave a courtesy note, and I'll rarely complain if any uninvolved admin does this either, but there's usually much less urgency about an undeletion so I would prefer to discuss it first - or ask DGG, two heads are always better than one. I may well add others in time, DGG is just one person with whom I frequently interact whose judgment I trust implicitly.

Any WP:BLP issue which requires you to undo an admin action of mine, go right ahead, but please post it immediately on WP:AN or WP:ANI for review.

The usual definition of uninvolved applies: you're not currently in an argument with me, you're not part of the original dispute or an editor of the affected article... you know. Apply WP:CLUE. Guy (Help!) 20:55, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

Proxy

188.27.144.144 who has been leaving comments on cold fusion talk-pages and pushing various fringe beliefs is a proxy IP. . An internet search also reveals a lot of forum spam and dodgy stuff associated with it . It is definitely a proxy. Other users should be informed about this because they are wasting a heck of lot of time talking to this guy. Goblin Face (talk) 20:10, 30 April 2014 (UTC)

Interesting. Please tell Bishzilla Guy (Help!) 20:15, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
Mmmm… Bishzilla kind of new at this. Attempted connect through that IP at port 80 and 81, but hands may be too big. Goblin Face, IP is proxy, but to make sure is open proxy, please ask Materialscientist or Kww. Little 'shonen be happy to block for a year if answer positive, but she scared lay about her with tools without certainty. bishzilla ROARR!! 20:47, 30 April 2014 (UTC).

Move request at Talk:Sarah Jane Brown.

Dear JzG,

The block you put on my IP address has now expired, meaning I am able to edit pages other than my own talk page once again. I have read through the posts made subsequent to the block and I have numerous concerns. Would you be happy to discuss these?

No. Obsessing over the names of biographies is a sign of the kind of person we absolutely do not need at Misplaced Pages. Guy (Help!) 08:35, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

Cap’n McDouche

The Askahrc problem has gotten out of control. He has now posted another polemic on Tumbleman’s website in which he indicates that he is “investigating dicks” on Misplaced Pages. And while I have no doubt that Askahrc has an extreme interest in dicks, I think it’s high time that this situation be rectified.

When I first goaded Askahrc into providing evidence against himself at his own sock puppet investigation more than two months ago I figured that Askahrc would be a self-rectifying problem once I got the ball rolling. Unfortunately, Askahrc has only been emboldened by his continued success at trolling.

Askahrc’s transition from a smalltime fringe pusher to a hardcore bully has apparently inspired the other problem editors to new heights of disruption. Olive had been fairly unproblematic since she succeeded in harassing Wolfie off of Misplaced Pages some months ago, but now she’s as disruptive as ever. Chopra’s thug is getting less civil and more trollish. And of course Liz insists on being the consort of every major fringe pusher she can find.

This shit is bad for morale and it’s bad for Misplaced Pages. I took action against Tom Butler because Roxy had lamented that Tom was “bullet proof” ], and now it seems that Askahrc is starting to be regarded an ever-present unsolvable problem in the same way that Tom was.

I can think of several strategies, but I think the most obvious is to get him for being a meat puppet. Alternately, I could dust off the old community block (it’s still “on the books”). What’s your take on the situation Guy? I think the evidence for WP:MEAT is fairly compelling, but I would like to know which venue and strategy you think is the most appropriate. 76.107.171.90 (talk) 13:17, 5 May 2014 (UTC)

I have no recall at all of saying that - but I did, and I appear to have been wrong. This politicking sucks, don't you think? Should I weigh in on the drama boards that I try to ignore in support of "B3"? I've no idea what to do. -Roxy the dog (resonate) 23:52, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
Up to you. I personally think Askahrc is very likely to dig a deep enough hole on Misplaced Pages without reference to external issues, but you never know. Guy (Help!) 07:46, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
First off, that content was lifted off of my talk page by a third party, as referenced by the website's statement that it was taken from WP and edited by another person. I had no involvement or input on this action. I'm no more a meat puppet because someone cites me than vzaak is when he's cited on the New Republic (at least I presume he isn't). Saying I'm a meatpuppet with no evidence is casting aspersions, while the rest of 76's statement is offensive in different ways.
Despite what you seem to think, I have no desire for politics here, didn't bring any up and was happy to work with any and all editors. I have no pseudoscience agenda, have never made a PSCI-POV edit and am tired of assertions to the contrary. While I'll respond with the appropriate measures when subjected to PA's, I hate the drama involved and would far rather work on my projects of choice in peace. I still hold out hope that can happen.
