: Yes, because I wanted to reply to what you wrote on your user page, but you said at the top of your user page that no one else should edit it. There was no other way to reply to what you'd written.

: Your user page isn't really "protected", by the way—I have no idea what you mean by that.

: Anyway, all content posted to Misplaced Pages may be freely copied to anywhere else on WP, assuming of course it is suitable content for wherever it's going. So I did nothing wrong, no matter how many exclamation points you use. You are quite fluent with many technical aspects of Misplaced Pages, such as creating redirects; I strongly suggest you spend some time gaining equal familiarity with Misplaced Pages's policies, guidelines, and culture. ] (]) 19:11, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

Edit to Binary-coded decimal

Thanks for the comment. I had an epiphany and I've nearly figured out the exact hardware logic IBM used to turn punch cards into BCDIC, and then EBCDIC. -- Ch'marr (talk) 05:00, 8 June 2014 (UTC)

Yes, puzzles like that enslave me now and then too  :) Jeh (talk) 07:54, 8 June 2014 (UTC)

You deleted my image!!!

It was not nice to delete my image. I only put the image on Blue Screen of Death. But since you removed the image from the page, I used a new image with the file named BSoD in Windows 1.0.png. — Preceding unsigned comment added by William Pina (talkcontribs) 22:59, 9 June 2014 (UTC)

As I said in several places, what you are calling "your" image appears to be a copyright violation, the original being http://bsod.org/img/bsod545.gif. You need to address this over at Commons as I have placed a nomination for deletion on it there. Jeh (talk) 23:09, 9 June 2014 (UTC)

ARE YOU IN SAYING?!?!?!?!

You also removed the link to http://bsod.org/faqen.php. Now I have to re-add the link to http://bsod.org/faqen.php, and now you're saying that the sentence, "Please use Linux, because crashing computers are no fun!!!" is INAPPROPRIATE?!?!?!?! NO WAY!!!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by William Pina (talkcontribs) 02:47, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

The word is "insane". And yes, it's grossly inappropriate for an encyclopedia. Please keep your own opinions on your own blog. As I explained above, the link itself isn't appropriate for an encyclopedia either, because the site it links to is both obsolete and of very low quality. Jeh (talk) 02:52, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

You modified the Black Screen of Death page!!!

Now I need to re-edit the above page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by William Pina (talkcontribs) 05:12, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

Yes, I did. The grammar was incorrect before. It is incorrect to say that an error message "is saying" anything. The text of the error message simply is.
As for your apparent outrage at having your edits changed, please review the text that appears above the edit window, whenever you edit anything on Misplaced Pages:

Content that violates any copyrights will be deleted. Encyclopedic content must be verifiable. Work submitted to Misplaced Pages can be edited, used, and redistributed—by anyone—subject to certain terms and conditions.

Everyone's stuff here gets changed, eventually. If you're that unhappy with having your work edited ("edited" includes "deleted"), you probably should reconsider contributing to Misplaced Pages... as it's going to happen a lot. Just like it does to everyone else. Jeh (talk) 05:26, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
