Just an FYI, even though you removed warnings from your talk page here we can still read them in your page history (anyone can). As you can see {{diff|User talk:Yagmurlukorfez|604352742|604341840|here}}, Tiptoety stated, "Consider this your only chance. Any further battleground behavior/edit warring will result in a block." This block is following up on that warning. At the article Celts, you'd posted on the talk page asking about their connection or status in regards to Indo-European peoples. If you'd waited for a reply (which came pretty quickly) and discussed the issue on the talk page instead of reinserting the "fact" tag you wouldn't be blocked. Your block will end soon, just remember this after your block is lifted. -- ''']'''] 13:13, 17 April 2014 (UTC) |
:I didn't hide anything, If you imply this. I remember tiptoety's warning don't worry but I think that(celts article) wasn't an "edit war." That user (whom reported me)fallowing me and when I edit something he quicly revert. Clearly, he is obsessed with me and keep attacking. I think we've got a serious problem than "blocking." You must be warn him too. ] (]) 13:36, 17 April 2014 (UTC) |
::You're allowed to remove warnings, our policy at ] allows for it. But your unblock request above showed surprise that you were blocked despite another administrator warning you that this exact situation would happen if you continued to edit-war or otherwise engaged in battleground behavior (reverting other editors instead of discussing matters with them). To me, that meant that either you didn't take the time to read the warning before deleting it, or you deleted it in the hope that other people would not know that the warning occurred. In either case I thought it would explain the block better to remind you that we (all editors, not just administrators) can look at your page history here even if you delete information, and that this block didn't come out of nowhere. If you had no history of this behavior in the recent past I would have just given you a warning, but you engaged in this behavior knowing that it could lead to a block. |
::Just to clarify, an edit war as defined at ] consists of "{{tq|a series of back-and-forth reverts}}", which is exactly what happened there. Even two reverts is an edit war (if an editor makes a single revert on a page it's almost never considered an edit war). I myself try to restrict myself to a single revert on a page against a particular editor, or on a particular topic, and I try to never revert more than once in a 24 hour period on a page unless it falls under ]. If I ever get in a situation where I feel I have to revert someone more than once I instead try to get them to talk about the reason behind our differences, and that usually works. (When it doesn't work is when you may need to ask someone else to help you out.) |
::I considered just giving a warning to both yourself and Zyma since it takes two to edit war. I checked to see if your edit-warring history was only a conflict with Zyma, but I see you also warring with an IP on ]. I will, however, remind Zyma not to engage in edit-wars on the ANI board, because it is worth reminding them that it is unacceptable behavior. -- ''']'''] 15:45, 17 April 2014 (UTC) |
Now you're targeting me atama. That IP blamed to me a "Turkish Nationalist" (I suppose this is a "personel attack"?) as you can see. And that because of he/she reverted my edit. He is might be a troll or sockpuppet, who knows?... I'am not keep going this nonsense argue. Blocking is fine, but you must be '''neutral''' and '''civil'''. ] (]) 16:07, 17 April 2014 (UTC) |
:I always try to be neutral, I did after all warn Zyma on the ANI board (it only seemed fair to). If I've been uncivil, please show me where my language was personally insulting, hyperbolic, or aggressive. I always try to treat people with respect and to deal with issue in a calm fashion and if I haven't done that I'd like to know where I made a mistake. I'm not going to assume that the IP was a troll or sockpuppet, I always ] of other editors until given reason to suspect otherwise and you should do the same, it's a fundamental principle of Misplaced Pages. -- ''']'''] 17:08, 17 April 2014 (UTC) |

Iyi günler Yagmurlukorfez, gördüğüm gibi birkaç haftadır viki'de meşgulsun. Umarım fars şovenistlerden veya türk karşıtı olan batılı şahıslardan hiç de şaşırmamışsındır.
