== Your repeated addition of the BLPPROD-tag to ] ==

Please stop adding the tag as it does '''NOT''' apply. ] clearly states that '''a)''' {{tq|"To place a BLPPROD tag, the process requires that the '''article contain no sources in any form''' (as references, external links, etc.), which support any statements made about the person in the biography"}}, and '''b)''' {{tq|"Only add a BLPPROD if there are ''no sources'' in any form that name the subject"}}. Which, since there are plenty of reliable sources in the article that name the subject means that BLPPROD can '''NOT''' be used. ] ] 11:25, 4 July 2014 (UTC)

Jai Prakash Menon

Hi Theamigosinc. Please stop abusing the {{edit protected}} template. The paragraph about Menon's departure from Airtel in the Jai Prakash Menon is neutrally worded, and the sourcing is solid, so there does not seem to be any violation of the biographies of living persons policy. Asserting otherwise in the face of strong evidence is disruptive. If you reactivate the {{edit protected}} template again without having reached a consensus on whether to alter the disputed text, then I will block you from editing. Rather than abusing the {{edit protected}} template, you may want to consider posting at the biographies of living persons noticeboard, although I will warn you beforehand that the editors there are likely to come to the same conclusins as me, TRPoD and Thomas W. Let me know if you have any questions about this, though, and I will be happy to answer them. Best — Mr. Stradivarius 08:49, 18 May 2014 (UTC)

Dear Mr. Stradivarius I do not agree to your point of view... The statement in the article is declarative/conclusive/allegations rather than referential "On 6 Dec, 2013 Menon unexpectedly left his post as CIO at Bharti Airtel amidst accusations of violations of the company's code of conduct by steering company contracts to businesses in which he had stakes"

Kindly help me understand the rationale for your conclusion beyond anonymously named news-paper articles. Please share your personnel email Id so that I can share documents on-record (official company records) to prove that article completely mis-states the facts.

I have already raised the issue with other administrators and below is their point of view. Please see a complaint at WP:AN3 (permalink). If consensus is reached, the protection can be lifted. If anything quoting people on the record is available from a reliable source about his departure from Bharti Airtel, that might be enough to resolve the matter. At present, we have some articles in good sources but they are only quoting anonymous people. EdJohnston (talk) 15:21, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

I concur EdJohnston's point of view that rather than relying on anonymous news paper articles, please produce a named on-the-record statement and I will agree to your point of view. I will raise it in biographies of living persons noticeboard and highlight WP:UNDUE and WP:IMPARTIAL. I will also request for deletion of the article as it is factually incorrect, mis-states all the designations, roles/responsibilities of person and is defamatory. This is for the 1st time in history of wikipedia that I am reading a defamatory statement in biographies of living persons

Dear Mr. Stradivarius I have been requesting to write the incident in a neutral language. Request your kind support to rephrase the negative statement as below to cover the incident without writing contentious defamatory statements.

In Dec 2013, Bharti Airtel Group CIO and the company’s director of global innovation & IT, Jai Menon, has stepped down from his post to go back to research and innovation of new technologies and intellectual property (IP). However, multiple sources reveal that he had been asked to leave for alleged violation of the company’s code of conduct, even though Menon has denied the charges.

Dear Thomas.W

1) I have not removed any sourced content from the page. I would request you to kindly do a page compare and tell me which "content" I have removed. I have made edits to the article and tried to provide valid references as well. Please share the reason why you have reverted the edits. Awaiting your response failing which I will reapply the changes. Also, request for your kind help to guide on how to experiment with test edits. Thanks User:theamigosinc 08:32, 2 June, 2014 (IST)

Dear Thomas.W

  • I am surprised to see the response from you. I am quoting the text verbatim from my edit as below, which clearly documents Dr. Menon's departure from Airtel along with all the reference - Which clearly substantiates that I have not removed sourced content.

However multiple public news paper articles alleged that Menon has left amidst accusations of violations of the company's code of conduct. by steering company contracts to businesses in which he had stakes

  • I would encourage you to read the article again, rather than just reverting the edits to prove your point. Kindly do not delete sourced content which I have added after providing credible references as you did in paragraph 1.
  • I am also astonished and hurt to see the harsh language and remarks by you on my previous note seeking help to improvise on the edits. I would request for professional conduct rather than emotional reaction. Appreciate your support.

Your repeated addition of the BLPPROD-tag to Jai Prakash Menon

Please stop adding the tag as it does NOT apply. WP:BLPPROD clearly states that a) "To place a BLPPROD tag, the process requires that the article contain no sources in any form (as references, external links, etc.), which support any statements made about the person in the biography", and b) "Only add a BLPPROD if there are no sources in any form that name the subject". Which, since there are plenty of reliable sources in the article that name the subject means that BLPPROD can NOT be used. Thomas.W 11:25, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
