On April 25, 1955, the last game of the championship was ] against ] at Spor Sergi Sarayı. ] and Modaspor were in the championship race until the last game and their points were the same. In the game, Fenerbahçe Director withdrew their team from the match just 44 seconds left to the end of the game due to the result Galatasaray 40 Fenerbahçe 27 and the point difference would enough make Galatasaray SK league champion. Therefore, the match could not be concluded. Nevertheless, the Federation of Sports Game declared that such behavior and action of the Fenerbahçe Director would not be acceptable, not be tolerated and there were two champions Galatasaray and Modaspor in that year.
