== War against propaganda ==

Dear Stevepeterson,
I've just seen the unbelievable war that Taivo started against you (backed-up by a vert reliable history expert Slav nationalist who claims to be a descendant of Alexander the Great). He is trying to make you go away. If you go away, if you back down, propaganda wins. I'm sure you won't let yourself be pushed around. My time is limited too, but I'm so enraged and agitated that I am going to fight this to the end. Within the next days (I am trying to find some real time to do this properly) I'm gonna submit a request/report to the admins with all the historical evidence. ] (]) 12:39, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

Musical instrument

Hello! Thanks for your addition to musical instrument. I am working on the History section with a few different books. Do you know what page(s) from Kartomi your material came from? I'm trying to include page numbers in all my citations. --Laser brain (talk) 17:19, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Thank you, sir. Happy editing. --Laser brain (talk) 02:28, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Byzantine lira

It's an interesting subject but I'd like to verify that it's the Byzantine instrument (i.e., from western Anatolia) and not any of the Arabic ones that was the point of origin for the European bowed lutes. The Crusaders went to many different areas of the Near East and there were probably more than one model of bowed lute found there, from more than one culture. Also, it shouldn't be oversimplified which ones it evolved into in Europe, as the lira da braccio, vielle, rebec, etc. are all very different in construction, and some came up from North Africa (which was not Byzantine, but Moorish). Oversimplification is important to avoid. Badagnani (talk) 03:06, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

The homeland of Byzantium was Greece (now western Turkey in Anatolia), so the pandura is a likely predecessor, at least as the shape indicates. Bowing technology was very late to develop so it's clear that plucked lutes preceded bowed ones. Badagnani (talk) 05:40, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Macedonia

Dear Stevepeterson, I have something for you in the Talk:Macedonia (ancient kingdom). I am looking forward to hearing from you. Gtrbolivar (talk) 15:26, 5 September 2014 (UTC)

Macedonia (not Greek, not Bulgarian, not Serbian, not Albanian, but Macedonian.)

QUICK! Look behind you! There's a PROPER Macedonian, the Macedonians (incorrectly reffered to as 'Slav') real NON-GREEK descendants of Alexander the Great.

Seriously, you need to see a psychiatrist. Don't stop taking the Ritalin!

Also, irredentist means: a person advocating the restoration to their country of any territory formerly belonging to it.

Thanks for admitting it! It really was Macedonian!
