This is a failed proposal. Consensus for its implementation was not established within a reasonable period of time. If you want to revive discussion, please use the talk page or initiate a thread at the village pump. |
This page is currently inactive and is retained for historical reference. Either the page is no longer relevant or consensus on its purpose has become unclear. To revive discussion, seek broader input via a forum such as the village pump. |
ShortcutThis page is intended to get attention quickly when dealing with personal attacks. It is not intended to serve as a form of mediation or a type of RFC. Only Personal attacks are dealt with on this page, on their own merits in accordance with Misplaced Pages's No Personal Attacks policy

This editor will not leave me alone. This started "investigating me" about a week ago. Ste4k 03:55, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- Can you provide any diffs that show a personal attack? An editor annoying you is not a personal attack. Paul Cyr 04:19, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- From here on down the rest of the page. And then this. Ste4k 04:27, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- I asked for specific diffs. Reviewers don't have time to read through pages of discussion looking for personal attacks. Paul Cyr 13:24, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- From here on down the rest of the page. And then this. Ste4k 04:27, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- creating me as a subject in an Article talk page (rather than discussing the article)
- declaring me a personal issue and referring to me as a portion of the anatomy of the opposite gender using an expletive
- ridicule of my religious beliefs
- again referring to me as a part of the male anatomy in reply to my following the instructions in documentation

Askolnick (talk · contribs)
We need help with a continual stream of personal attacks from User:Askolnick, who insists on commenting on the contributors and not the content, apparently in an attempt to discredit and marginalize those that disagree with him.
Here is just a small sample of Askolnick's personal attacks, there are many more: , , , , ,
He even attacked and insulted a newbie Misplaced Pages editor, Brian Josephson, who is the Nobel Laureate Brian Josephson:
Askolnick has been warned time and time again, both in article talk pages and on his own talk page: , , , ,
Personal attack warnings on current dispute, , , , ,
I think the most outrageous examples are where he used tactics of intimidation to attack and “punish” editors who didn’t vote his way in a source dispute. Askolnick has been posting attacks and “warnings to other editors” on the editor’s own talk page, , , , ,
- When User:Rohirok removed Askolnick’s personal attacks from his own user talk page, Askolnick then posted the attack on his own talk page: User_talk:Askolnick#Posting_here_the_comments_censored_from_Rohirok.27s_talk_page.
- Askolnick did the same thing to User:KeithTyler, .
Administrator action needs to be taken to help with this abusive editor. Thanks. Dreadlocke 01:58, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
