International Turkish Hope School (ITHS) was established in Dhaka in 1996. The President of Turkey HE Mr. Suleyman Demirel officially inaugurated the school in March 1997. ITHS is an English Medium School which offers education from Playgroup to A’ Level standard.

ITHS started with one branch and few students. However, with the sincere efforts of its dedicated staff, the total number of students has been raised to 1600 in two Pre-schools, two Junior Sections, two Senior Sections (one Boys’ and one Girls’) in Gulshan and Uttara. ITHS has also started its operation in Chittagong and Bogra got remarkable response from the inhabitants of these cities.

Among the total number of students, 313 students got scholarship in different categories. Among them 98 of them are underprivileged students from different parts of Bangladesh and get full free scholarship including food and accommodation , school uniform, books, copies, stationary items and pocket money that becomes about two lac for each student in one year. 50 students who did good results at different classes of the school got academic scholarship and the remaining 235 students are benefiting our scholarship facility in different categories.

A student named S.K.M Noor-E-Jalal Nahiyan,Surname- Nahiyan, was the student of the year, A very very intelligent boy, and the best student of the School. International School Dhaka (ISD) is a co-educational ] World School in ], ] which opened in 1999. The accomplishment of anything worthwhile, whether large or small, depends on the completion of goals, activities and milestones.Every successful concept and project in life requires a proper framework and planning. This relates to all processes, including education. Since a good education is the fundamental matter for the development of character, values and morals, Int’l Turkish Hope School is proud of its strong academic tradition.
The curriculum comprises the Early Years and the International Baccalaureate ] (PYP), ] (MYP) and the ]. Graduates achieve results above the world average in the IB Diploma and attend universities in the United States, Canada, Netherlands, Norway, India, UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Australia, and the United Kingdom.


ITHS believes that the improvement of the children is possible only with a properly designed curriculum and syllabus from the play stage and thereby lays such a curriculum-path that in inter-connected through different levels.

Pupils will be prepared for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and General Certificate Examination (GCE) held by Edexcel International Examinations Board. The academic calendar and curriculum are up-to-date in accordance with International GCSE /A\' Level courses. Our curriculum offers a complete learning package program to meet the international standard.

Bengali language classes are compulsory for Bangladeshi citizens and for the students whose father or mother is originally Bangladeshi.Students are classified based on their origin and not the passport inthe regard.

Students staying abroad from a long time may be given special permission to study at foundation level but they are advised to attain the standard appealing their grades as quickly as possible.

For the greater benefit of the students, Turkish language will be taught from class 3 to 8. It is well known that this post-modern era knowing any foreign language offers students an extra advantage.

Religious Studies is not compulsory for the non-Muslim students.

Students who attained successful results in IGCSE and GCE AS level Examination are granted 25% to 100% academic scholarship for the following one complete academic year.

Any student obtaining 6 A*'s in IGCSE is awarded 25% tuition fee concession.

Any student obtaining 7 A*'s in IGCSE is awarded 50% tuition fee concession.

Any student obtaining 8 A*'s in IGCSE is awarded 75% tuition fee concession.

Any student obtaining 9 A*'s in IGCSE is awarded 100% tuition fee concession.

Any student obtaining 3 A''s at GCE AS Level is awarded 25% tuition fee concession.

Any student obtaining 4 A''s at GCE AS Level is awarded 50% tuition fee concession.

Working closely with friends, having fun and learning new things about yourself, your peers, community and the world can all happen in ITHS Clubs. We are proving through the clubs to have a significant impact on many whole school priorities such as behavior, attendance and attainment. ITHS Clubs also provide a means of developing a sense of belonging, confidence and competence in young people that can translate to other aspects of school life and priorities, such as special educational needs.
Int’l Turkish Hope School students participate in a variety of teams and clubs during the school year. Involvement in these activities does require a time commitment and enthusiasm,nevertheless they are a very rewarding and important part of school life at ITHS. All students are encouraged to make a difference to the school with their ideas and their involvement. The running of any club or activity is contingent upon student interest.
Our purpose is to provide co-curricular organizations and activities to permit all interested students an opportunity to participate. Every effort is made to avoid membership requirements that would prevent this participation.

There are numerous clubs which focus on sports, art, dance, and other areas to attract active young people and inspire them to participate in a range of alternative clubs. We aim to:

Meet the needs and aspirations of young people.
Help them in learning for specific areas.
Train the young leaders.
Make use of utilized school facilities more.
Change the attitudes of different aged pupils towards being healthy and active in their everyday lives.

==Excellent Exam Results==
International Turkish Hope School is pleased to announce a very prominent International GCSE and A Level results for May- June Examination Session of 2014. We are delighted to witness such excellent exam results in this year as well. There were a number of extraordinary International GCSE and A Level results in the last exam session. These include; Out of 59 students, 29 have achieved results of 6A* and above in International GCSE and one has achieved 7A, two have achieved 6A, and two others have achieved 5A in A Level.

There has been a significant improvement in the school’s performance in the recent exam session; the average pass rate and rate of achieving top grades was higher this year in comparison to the past years. We are very content and proud!

Educating a child is a challenging task. However, with the support of dedicated faculty members we have always achieved our desired results. We are grateful and blessed to be surrounded by such faculty members.

The improvements in results, which can be seen across a range of subjects, are testament to the hard work of the students, their teachers and the families who support them. We would like to whole-heartedly thank our students, parents, faculty and management.





==Edexcel Award Ceremony==
Twenty two of ITHS students have been awarded by EDEXCEL on May3rd, 2014.The criteria set for the selection of awardees were quite challanging .Students achieved at least 7’A’ Grades and above in one sitting in International GCSE, and 4’A’ Grades and above in one sitting in A Level have been awarded with Certificate of High Achievement.

Edexcel, the largest awarding body in the UK and a part of Pearson Company conducted its’ second Academic Award Ceremony for the students who achieved outstanding results in their International GCSE and GCE A Level examinations in 2013.

One of the awardees of Int’l Turkish Hope School,RagibMostafa, student of Class 11, thanked his family and teachers for their support in achieving outstanding results in the International GCSE examinations in which he earned 11 A*'s in one sitting. Ragib also achieved the World’sHighest and Country Highest Marks in International GCSE Mathematics examinations.

ZarinTasneemhas been awarded as country highest achiever in Commerce.

MasudOrazgot the country highest in Turkish.

Prof. Dr. Gowher Rizvi, International Relation Affairs Adviser to the Honorable Prime Minister was present in the Award Ceremony as the Chief Guest and distributed the certificates. Mr. Nick Low, Acting British High Comissioner, Mr. Brendan McSharry, Acting Director British Council, Mr. Simon Young, Regional Director, South East Asia, Pearson Edexcel also spoke on the occasion attended by more than 1300 students, tecahers and parents.

Country Manager of Edexcel Bangladesh Mr. Saidur Rahman highligted its’ activities.

Prof Dr. Gowher Rizvi, in his speech said, recognizing the outstanding achievement of these brilliant students will work as a great encouragment for their future study and career through which, our country can be benefitted. He also said that our country needs more scientists, the doctors and more researchers who can help develop the economy of Bangladesh and change the quality of lives. He also added that we all need to come forward and think how we can improve the quality of education in our rural area for poor people who can also take the advantage of this quality education.

Bangladesh is one of the key countries where large number of students sit Edexcel qualifications and every year many of them go for higher studies in the world’s most prestigious Universities such as Harvard, Cambridge, MIT, Stanford, UCL etc every year. A large number of these students are also studying in both public and private univeristies in Bangladesh.

Among others Mr. Deep Adhikary, CountryExaminations Manager, British Council, Mr. Saidur Rahman, Country Manager, Edexcel Bangladesh and Mr. Abdullah Liton, Regional Development Manager of Edexcel were present in the occasion.

Prof. Dr. Gowher Rizvi, International Relation Affairs Adviser to the Honorable Prime Minister was present in the Award Ceremony as the Chief Guest and distributed the certificates. Mr. Nick Low, Acting British High Comissioner, Mr. Brendan McSharry, Acting Director British Council, Mr. Simon Young, Regional Director, South East Asia, Pearson Edexcel also spoke on the occasion attended by more than 1300 students, tecahers and parents.

Country Manager of Edexcel Bangladesh Mr. Saidur Rahman highligted its’ activities.

Prof Dr. Gowher Rizvi, in his speech said, recognizing the outstanding achievement of these brilliant students will work as a great encouragment for their future study and career through which, our country can be benefitted. He also said that our country needs more scientists, the doctors and more researchers who can help develop the economy of Bangladesh and change the quality of lives. He also added that we all need to come forward and think how we can improve the quality of education in our rural area for poor people who can also take the advantage of this quality education.

Bangladesh is one of the key countries where large number of students sit Edexcel qualifications and every year many of them go for higher studies in the world’s most prestigious Universities such as Harvard, Cambridge, MIT, Stanford, UCL etc every year. A large number of these students are also studying in both public and private univeristies in Bangladesh.

Among others Mr. Deep Adhikary, CountryExaminations Manager, British Council, Mr. Saidur Rahman, Country Manager, Edexcel Bangladesh and Mr. Abdullah Liton, Regional Development Manager of Edexcel were present in the occasion.
