- Tutorial

- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Misplaced Pages:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}}

- Hi, Fmelikov. I think that as a new user, you may wish to read through our policies about citations and reliable sources, which will help explain why some of your edits have been reverted. If you have any questions, I'm happy to try to answer them. Again, welcome. Kafka Liz (talk) 11:28, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
- Regarding your edit summary here, no one is questioning the location of Ardabil, which is the only thing that the map would prove. What is needed is a source explaining the connection of the Safavids to Ardabil, which Nepaheshgar has now provided. Regards, Kafka Liz (talk) 16:35, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Yeraz
Fmelikov,
You nominated Yeraz for deletion based on your objection to the article title. This isn't an article for deletion, but it is an argument for a move request (aka, renaming the article). If you let me know a better name for this article, I can propose a rename on the article.

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer be able to have them marked as minor by default. For more information on what a minor edit is, see WP:MINOR or feel to get in touch.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 21:08, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Warning
Your recent editing history at Lavash shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
