Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Hill fort, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Qaddosh||contribs 18:31, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Misplaced Pages accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations/Jooner29. Thank you. Welcome to Misplaced Pages. I saw that you edited or created Joshua Bonehill, and I noticed that your username, "Bonehill", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Trammel Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Mark at WidgetsUSA", "Jack Smith at the XY Foundation", and "WidgetFan87".
Please also note that Misplaced Pages does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Misplaced Pages in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a username change that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 20:59, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Joshua Bonehill shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 21:10, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
There are two interwoven problems here
As I see it, there are two problems that need to be addressed here:
- There may be a WP:BLP problem with text that describes Joshua Bonehill as an "internet troll" in an unqualified manner in the lede of his article.
- There are problems with your editing conduct, both with violations of the three revert rule by this account and apparent abuse of multiple accounts by you as an individual.
The first issue should be handled by discussion at Talk:Joshua Bonehill about whether the cited sources are sufficient to describe the subject as such, and whether that is his primary claim to fame. Since you are holding yourself out as the subject, you should not be editing the Joshua Bonehill article; you should only be making edit requests at the talk page.
The second issue is whether, based on your current conduct, you should be allowed to continue to edit Misplaced Pages at all. Not only is there evidence that you have violated the three revert rule, but it is also apparent that you have edit previously as Jooner29 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). Since that account has been blocked indefinitely, any edits by you, as the owner of that account, are in violation of that block—and are grounds for an immediate block.
I strongly suggest that you confine your edits to civil discussion of the issues regarding the article at its talk page. If you do so, I'm willing to advocate for you to be allowed to be a party to the discussion there. Otherwise, and particularly if you keep edit warring on the article, I will not intervene if another editor choose to block you. —C.Fred (talk) 21:23, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
