Naming

Whoever it is that keeps making the naming edits, I'm going to try and explain the reasoning for them here, at least as I see it. Your point about the names is valid in the series proper, but since this is a video game it's a little different. The manga and anime basically give us 3 sets of names in English (manga, subs, and dubs), but there is only the one version of this game. If you're watching the anime, seeing the original version is as simple as picking up a DVD and clicking your audio and subtitle buttons. THIS article is on DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 2, not DBZ: Sparking! Neo. Most English speakers aren't going to play Sparking! Neo unless they mod their system and import. Even then, they aren't going to be directly reading names unless they happen to know Japanese. This article is on BT2, and lists the names that will be in BT2. Understand? Onikage725

Stages

I wanted to add the confirmed stages but the user named 3bulletproof16 kept removing them. Could someone please explain whats wrong with adding the confirmed stages or what his problem is?

Like I said in the edit summary, you can't just look at something that isn't even complete and come to conclusions. Good God no. If everything on Misplaced Pages was based on speculation, then it would not be an encyclopedia, now would it? The same thing goes for the "confirmed" characters. However, there are a lot of sources including verbal confirmation that those characters will be in the game (though sometimes even that isn't enough). What I'm trying to say is that you can't just come to conclusions if you only have little information to begin with. Do you know the official names of the stages or are you just speculating that their names will be as you stated. Are you even 100% sure that the stage will even make it in the game? Do you have a source where a developer confirms your speculation? For more information on this policy, please see Misplaced Pages:What Misplaced Pages is not --3bulletproof16 18:35, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Well, what i think about this is Bulletproof (and someone else) is trying to avoid other people edits, even when are correct edits. He only puts here his OWN edits, belieiving are the only ones they can be. Why are u keep removing names like Tenshinhan or Chaoz for other names, 4 example?????. If you just see the OFFICIAL WEB u will noticed the real names for this characters and others are there. That makes them automaticly OFFICIAL NAMES for the game, independently of the horrible and totally different american dub of the series. Please, stop with your stupid attitude. Let other people edit freely and, please, make us a favour: dont be a child. Ace Class Shadow 19:56, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Kids... If Ace Class Shadow has any more sockpuppets that he would like to use to avoid the 3RR, then please, by all means come on out so they can be reported. --3bulletproof16 20:16, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
You know something that I find strange? That User:83.38.184.224 signs all of his comments claiming he is Ace Class Shadow, yet the IP has not made a single edit on his OWN User Talk page. Could this be a case of stolen identity? Hmm... So either Ace Class Shadow is using sockpuppets to avoid the 3RR, or an IP uses Ace Class Shadow name to turn the blame towards Ace Class Shadow. Either scenario doesn't look too good for you homes. --3bulletproof16 20:23, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

3bulletproof16 i think you should learn to accept other people. The stages were confirmed for example in this: http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/dragonballzbudokaitenkaichi2/media.html in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 2006 Stage-Show Demonstration Video when they said that all stages from BT1 will return. You can even see them! I think Bulletproof should get a warning for this. He threatened me that i will be blocked from editing wikipedia even tough i was the one who was right and he the ignorant one.

He wasn't ignorant, he was upholding wikipedia's laws/rules/standards. You didn't show any proof until now, and another thing, he has much more experience than you. KojiDude (talk) 08:06, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
It would behoove you to check out Misplaced Pages:Civility and Misplaced Pages:No personal attacks, 83.38.184.224, since you seem to like to resort to name-calling in your responses to others.
Daishokaioshin 08:53, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
I showed him more than enough proof and he was not NOT upholding wikipedia's laws/rules/standards because if we can't have a confirmed stages section we must eliminate the confirmed character section too.The stages like Namek are as much confirmed as characters like Tapion or Turles.
I was upholding Misplaced Pages policy to prevent any more vandalism from being added to the article by contributors that do NOT provide a credible source for their claims. Contributors that do NOT read through the guidelines and policies provided for them on the FRONT PAGE of this site and add their random nonsense for the purpose of adding random nonsense. But at least you had the common courtesy to discuss the issue on the talk page. You are right to defend your claims but do not insult my integrity by trying give be a warning and calling me ignorant or a child when you have chosen to act upon your own point of view and ignore the consensus formed by other contributors who act upon improving the article to Misplaced Pages standards. If anything, YOU should get another warning for being uncivil to others and ignoring the consensus as well as Misplaced Pages Policy. Once again please, don't be ignorant or a blatant vandal, and just read through Misplaced Pages's Policies before you make any more contributions. Thank you. --3bulletproof16 16:15, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Wow. This is the first time I've even heard about a problem. This is the real ACS, by the way. Bullet sent a message to my talk page. So, is there anything I can do about this? ACS (Wikipedian) 16:59, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

See I knew something was wrong about this. I saw your User Page and I thought there was no way such a respected, experienced contributor would act in such a disrespectful, ignorant manner. Well ACS (Wikipedian), It appears that an IP has deliberately signed his comments with your name on them. He has been impersonating you for the past couple of months, it seems. I just needed confirmation that this was an imposter. --3bulletproof16 17:12, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Well, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Anyway, I'm just happy I could clear things up. ACS (Wikipedian) 17:29, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

This is getting on my nerves...

This article attracts way too many vandals and trolls. We need to semi-protect it against IP users or something. I think this was discussed already once before and turned down, but maybe we should request it again. KojiDude (talk) 18:20, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Who would have guessed it'd be a so popular with vandals... Are trolls really that dedicated? --3bulletproof16 07:14, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Aperently, yeah. It might be some kind of conspiracy with the 80.000.00.00 range of IP adresses, lol.Where do I go to request protection? KojiDude (talk) 21:13, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Why do people keep using the producer's name when the average reader wouldn't know him from a hole in the wall? At least say what he does for the complany when talking about Clay. Voice of Treason 01:03, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

Toma

hello i came to say that the character toma has been confenmed don't beleave me here http://img332.imageshack.us/img332/5771/tomaaverifier4ra.png

That picture is obviousley a fake. KojiDude (talk) 02:35, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

how is this fake?

aw never mind toma is not in it sorry

Frieza?

Could somone show me the confirmation for Frieza's first and 2nd forms? KojiDude (talk) 06:31, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Both of these forms are in this video near the end http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiZj3xFNebA&search=Dragonball%20Z%20Budokai%20Tenkaichi%202

Base Teen Gohan Confirmed

Proof: This Ace Class Shadow 10:23, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Wow... Imposter's still at it... what a troll--3bulletproof16 15:09, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
if base Teen Gohan is in the game, it would be no surprise to me. Hasn't he been in all of the budokai games so far? --Sasuke-kun27 16:16, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Base Cooler Form

Hi, could someone show me a visual proof of cooler in 1st Form? Thanks

IS HE REALLY CONFIRMED??????

I don't know if Base Cooler is confirmed or not, so I can't answer your question. But unless you have visual proof of him in the game...PLEASE don't add him as a playable character! It's annoying to see his name appear on and off the list every time I visit the page. And this goes for all characters... Sasuke-kun27 02:22, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

alright. i'l remove brolly's base form from the list cuz someone added that and again i will list the androids CUZ THEY ARE CONFIRMED GOD DAMMIT

Broly

If you can really play as Broly in all of those forms, I want visual proof. Otherwise, delete it --Sasuke-kun27 19:11, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

well those forms of brolly are not made black yet....cooler base form does, so is he confirmed or what?

it looks like it. I expect him to be but im not sure. --Sasuke-kun27 20:27, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
No visual proof of base cooler or any of broly's forms has been given. We can't put them on the list just because you think they might be in it. The person adding those names is doing it for the soul purpose of misleading others. KojiDude (talk) 21:08, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
what about Garlic jr and Android 14/15? Have they finally been confirmed? --Sasuke-kun27 21:11, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Androids 14 and 15 have supossedly been verbally confirmed, but it was just a fan site, and no offical source has been given, so they shouldn't be listed. Garlic Jr.'s transformed state was verbally confirmed at E3. KojiDude (talk) 21:15, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Should we just delete them or put the {} things around their names? --Sasuke-kun27 21:26, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
No, they weren't confirmed by any reliable source, they shouldn't be listed at all. The next time somone puts up a new character or form, and claims they have verbal/visual confirmation, check the talk page. If there isn't anything to prove it, just delete it from the article. KojiDude (talk) 21:29, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
I will. Thanks. --Sasuke-kun27 21:33, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Garlic Junior and the two androids have all been confirmed (said by donny clay on the atari forums) so they are listed back,

Can you show me some proof? If you can, I'll gladly keep them on the list. --Sasuke-kun27 23:28, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Garlic Junior is in said in the intervieuw and said again by donny clay on the atari forum. same goes for his transformation about the 2 androids i just heard yesterday that they were confirmed for a while now it has been saif by ryo moto on a question intervieuw in a magazine

just one more thing and then I swear on my life I will believe you. Can you give me a link to the site or something? --Sasuke-kun27 23:36, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
