: I appreciate you doing so, but this isn't oppression. I am aware that you are a little new to editing here, and that you and I have had our disagreements. However, what youa re seeing as oppression is simply the larger body of (more?) experienced editors working within a Misplaced Pages that has a number of generally-accepted rules. You have expressed frustration with the way that these just seem to pop up out of nowhere; you would not be the first person to experience that culture shock - I did when I started, and I am a second-generation editor (my Pops used to edit before he retired). | |||
:Maybe you should consider getting a ] here in Misplaced Pages to help you acclimate better to the editing environment here. I sense that you really are here to improve articles; let us help you learn how to do that more skillfully. I'd volunteer, but I think our past dust-up would get in the way. If you need some help, I will try to provide it for you. Good luck. - ] (]) 05:45, 1 March 2015 (UTC) |

American Horror Story: Freak Show
I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate your edits on American Horror Story: Freak Show. I can tell that you are very passionate about the show and the article. But I would like to respectfully ask you to stop revert correctional edits back to a previous edit that you made. An example of this would be the phrase "the world's smallest woman." Since we only live in one world, it is "world's", not "worlds". Please take this into consideration. I also would like to ask you to stop reverting character names, descriptions, and moving billed primary actors to the recurring section. The confirmation of the return of actors in previous installments basically means that as of now they belong in the main cast until stated otherwise. Thank you for all of your contributions! DantODB (talk) 14:27, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
I know there have been a lot of edits and reverts to AHS Freak Show. Drew Rin Varick is a confirmed cast member according to IMBD his character is named Toulouse and he is confirmed for 3 episodes. Is there a reason he is not on the cast list?(talk) — Preceding undated comment added 23:55, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
- I have not seen any verifiable source stating his cast. If you know of such a source please let me know. LLArrow (talk) 03:28, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
- Hi. I have not been editing American Horror Story: Coven, so I did not understand why you posted a link to that article on my talk page. Regarding Freak Show, I am only trying to follow actual credits from the actual show. Thank you for all of your contributions! DantODB (talk) 12:40, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
- Hi! I just wanted to let you know that Twisty the clown killer is an incorrect way to state a character's name. It should be Twisty the Clown Killer if it is the actual name. Since all of the references for the character state simply Twisty or Twisty the clown killer, it is clear that "clown killer" is a character description. So, the right way to state this is Twisty, the "clown killer". Thank you for all of your contributions! DantODB (talk) 14:35, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
- Hi. I am getting really tired of reverting all of your edits. I don't understand why you never explain your edits, other than the previous revision being "dubious" or "unnecessary". Unfortunately, that is not explanatory enough. An example would be the addition of Gabourey Sidibe and Jamie Brewer to the Cast section. You did not provide a source for their involvement on (at least) a recurring basis, therefore they do not belong in the section. Another edit of yours being locating Patti LaBelle. It was never said that LaBelle is to be a recurring character. She is reported to be appearing in four episodes, but nothing was ever said about a recurring status. And since her name appeared on the poster, it is likely that she will be be billed as a "Special Guest Star", like Angela Bassett and Sidibe in the previous season. So, I would really appreciate it if you don't draw your own conclusions and edit the page only to your liking. Thank you for all of your contributions! DantODB (talk) 07:35, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
- Hi. I would like to point out that I specifically said that co-stars do not have recurring status. Recurring actors are always billed as guest actors. Actors that are only credited as co-stars indicate minimal involvement, hence they are not to be put under recurring. Prolific or not, Gummer appeared in Coven, which is what the sentence refers to. Worthy of header status or not, Grossman's especial involvement is already detailed in casting, making it unnecessary to especially mention it again. Poor grammar undermines the article's quality, which I am only trying to make better. DantODB (talk) 23:07, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
Hi, I'm here to justify myself about my edition on American Horror Story: Freak Show page. Be aware that I'm not fluent in English yet. Firstly, you had no reason to be rude. Secondly, I kept adding actress Jamie Brewer as a recurring guest because someone had added her before and then someone else deleted it and I thought it was some person behaving inappropriate. I'm sorry about this misunderstanding, I just created this account recently. If I may ask, what kind of source should I use in this case? Israeldmo (talk) 22:59, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you and, again, I'm sorry about it. I still don't quite understand why exactly I couldn't add her if she already appeared in episode 11, Magical Thinking. I noticed user Caecae26 added her again as a recurring actress, I hope he provided a proper sourcing. Israeldmo (talk) 22:13, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
Use of bold
The Manual of Style states that bold font should only be used for the subject title of the article; bold is never used to emphasize Wikilinks. Yworo (talk) 04:02, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
See WP:BOLDTITLE, WP:MOSBOLD, and Misplaced Pages:Superfluous bolding explained. Also, please do not accuse other editors of "bias" when they are merely removing superfluous formatting. That's a violation of our assume good faith and no personal attacks rules. Yworo (talk) 04:08, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Jesse Warn
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Jesse Warn requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 02:38, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
Jean Loring
Why do you keep wanting that added? She was never his partner.. point me to the discussion where it was decided that people wanted it in there? Someone added it awhile back and no one questioned it before is not the same as "established consensus." Point me to the issue # where she works besides him in anysort of partnership? Superman's page does not list Lois as a partner, Barry Allen does not list Iris as a partner. Your only reasoning in your edit summaries is "its been there for a long while..." that doesnt explain why it should be there. Spanneraol (talk) 00:18, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
I left a response in the Atom talk page. No, I am not impressed to find that there is no discussion which insists keeping that entry on the navbox list, even though you implied that there is one. And yes, I am completely in agreement with Spanneraol on the subject. It's a case by case basis; certain characters like Mera, Steve Trevor, Larry Lance and even Sue Dibny have an established print history of consistently working alongside the titular protagonists besides being their love interests. Lois Lane is a bit of a tricky case because she does have agency as a character and does her own thing as often as being at Superman's side, but clearly Jean Loring isn't and never was.
Keep in mind as well, consensus can change. Haleth (talk) 01:09, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
Glee season changes
LLArrow, please note that the ampersands have not been used in earlier seasons when Murphy, Falchuk, and Brennan shared credits, and this has been established for a while. I will be reverting you once again, and if you really, really think they belong despite the Manual of Style's preference, please argue your case in the season 6 talk page, since to do it on all the seasons where the three of them shared credits isn't necessary. Thank you. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:26, 13 January 2015 (UTC)

Here is Rswallis10's 3RR report: if you want to keep an eye on it/comment. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 05:15, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
- Commented. Good work. Let's hope this pain is alleviated. Cheers, LLArrow (talk) 05:25, 21 February 2015 (UTC)

Canvassing
Hey, just so you don't get accused of canvassing in the future (and I don't believe this would qualify), just post the request for comment at WP:TV, of it's an application of the guideline to WP:MOSTV. You'll get more opinions, and Favre and I will still see. Make sure the request is neutral as well. Cheers. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 12:51, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
- It was a mistake to reach out to you, I apologize. It seems Misplaced Pages never fails to supply a regulation I am unaware of. Thanks, LLArrow (talk) 17:20, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 27
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Andrew Kreisberg, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Supergirl (TV series) (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Orphaned non-free image File:The Americans, season 3, promotional image 2015.jpj.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:The Americans, season 3, promotional image 2015.jpj.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 23:15, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
3RR Warning
I am going to remind you that your edit-warring is beyond the 3RR limit in the Atom article. I'd suggest that you revert immediately. If not, I will be forced to report you again to the Edit-War noticeboard. Clearly, your recent edits seem driven by your failure to "get me" at AN/I, thinking that what's good for the goose is good for the gander. You need to take a serious look at your edits and whether Misplaced Pages is the sort of place to engage in this sort of nonsense.
As I know you are online, I will wait a short time before reporting your behavior - unless you revert immediately. - Jack Sebastian (talk) 05:11, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
- I have only reverted twice. I will not be doing so again. I see you are becoming more pleasant with each passing edit. Cheers, LLArrow (talk) 05:15, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
- You might want to revisit your maths, LLArrow; remember - three reverting edits on an article in a 24-hour period. More than that (and occasionally, less than that), and you face a block. I will ask you only once again to self-revert, in the interest of collaborative editing. Don't make me report you, please. - Jack Sebastian (talk) 05:27, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
- I will bend to the will of an oppressive force. LLArrow (talk) 05:33, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
- I appreciate you doing so, but this isn't oppression.
- Maybe you should consider getting a mentor here in Misplaced Pages to help you acclimate better to the editing environment here. I sense that you really are here to improve articles; let us help you learn how to do that more skillfully. I'd volunteer, but I think our past dust-up would get in the way. If you need some help, I will try to provide it for you. Good luck. - Jack Sebastian (talk) 05:45, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
