Recently I brought Catflap08 to ANI for various problems. The thread went nowhere due in part to {{User|John Carter}} ignoring ehat I said and posting a series of non sequiturs. He asserted that it was a content dispute (it wasn't) and should go to DRN, and then started claimit already was under discussion on DRN and that I was forum-shopping. This was news to me, even though I had initiated that dispute by reverting an edit Catflap had made in December. I checked DRN and found a thread on ]. I ] an honest mistake, as John Carter had to be an American ignorant of Japanese Buddhism. He repeated the accusations despite being told he was mistaken. Recently I started an ANI thread on ]. {{User|John Carter}} asserted it was a content dispute and should go to DRN, and then started claiming it already ''was'' under discussion on DRN and that I was forum-shopping. This was not true. I checked DRN and found ] involving Catflap08. I ] an honest mistake, as he what looked like a claim to ignorance of the area (Japanese Buddhism). Then I noticed John Carter had in this area several times. John Carter appears to be one of the few users who Catflap08 hasn't conflicted with. John Carter's experience editing articles on Nichiren Buddhism, and his repeated refusal to retract the accusation, implies not a good-faith mistake but a deliberate attack on me to defend his friend. Once the following users have all been investigated and sockpuppets blocked, the WP:FRINGE, WP:SYNTH-infested WP:POVFORK article Korean influence on Japanese culture will be taken to AFD. All the sources in it are either unreliable fringe works, or reliable sources that are being quoted out of context to promote the fringe POV that all or most of Japanese culture originated in Korea.

John Carter (talk · contribs) asserted it was a content dispute and should go to DRN, and then started claiming it already was under discussion on DRN and that I was forum-shopping. This was not true. I checked DRN and found an unrelated thread involving Catflap08. I assumed an honest mistake, as heposted what looked like a claim to ignorance of the area (Japanese Buddhism). He ignored me when I informed him that the DRN thread was on an unrelated topic.

Then I noticed John Carter had collaborated with Catflap08 in this area several times. He appears to be one of the few users Catflap08 doesn't dislike. His experience editing articles on Japanese Buddhism, and his refusal to retract the accusation, implies not a good-faith mistake but a deliberate false accusation against me to defend his friend. He was also accusing me of bringing an active DRN discussion to ANI despite being clearly aware that his friend had done just that not long before. John Carter accused me of doing the exact thing he was defending Catflap08 for!
