:Bring it up with your countryman, and his decision to include petulant NPOV-violations in the ''main text'' of an allegedly encyclopedic article. And then choosing, instead of admitting his total ignorance of the subject—people who are demonstrably ignorant of linguistics have no more right to voice opinions on it than the Flat Earth Society has to comment on astrophysics—to spew forth laughable anti-American stereotype-mongering. Civility is a two-way street; don't include insults to other countries in the ''text of articles'', or double down on the bigotry when the inappropriateness is pointed out, and your country won't be insulted. It's not really very difficult. |

:I probably shouldn't have responded to having my country insulted by insulting his, and I apologize to ''you'' for any offense, but the conversation should never have been taking place in the first place, because the first time I removed "erroneous", he shouldn't have reinstated the mindless, petulant slur. ] (]) 15:33, 24 March 2015 (UTC) |
