==Punctuation Within Parentheses==

Hi, Cebr1979: About that "Brian Williams/Berlin Wall" sentence, within parentheses: The sentence is a "stand-alone" sentence, and it needs its own punctuation, which remains with it, within the parentheses. I pulled out an example from www.thepunctuationguide.com, as follows:

{{Quote box
|quote = When a parenthetical sentence stands on its own, the closing punctuation mark for the sentence is placed inside the closing parenthesis.
:The idea that theoretical physics can be taught without reference to complex mathematics is patently absurd. (But don’t tell that to the publishers of such mathematics-free books—or the people who buy them.)

|align = center
}}

Many other guides exist, and all I've seen say the same thing. I switched it back, but if we still disagree, we should probably discuss it in public on the Brian Williams talk page, though I hope we don't! Best, ] (]) 21:06, 23 June 2015 (UTC)

A brownie for you!

In an attempt to bury the hatchet, and hopefully move forward with positive and cohesion in our editing! Plus... brownies are yummy! livelikemusic 01:57, 20 February 2015 (UTC)

Thank you. I can't say as I've mastered the art of sending brownies quite yet so you'll have to forgive for not sending one back. Cebr1979 (talk) 02:02, 20 February 2015 (UTC)
