Try to be unbiased on Misplaced Pages,Government of India never recognised any trekkers/authors map on Siachen officially

some trekkers and authors viewpoint and their maps was never official position of Government of India and neither it recognised them--Koodfaand (talk) 10:24, 4 June 2015 (UTC)

Nobody cares what is the official position of Govt of India if the international community thinks otherwise. I find it rather surprising that you have roughed out the sources as 'some' trekkers and authors. I think you need to read the importance of secondary sources at Misplaced Pages. There are 101 things which Govt of Pakistan does not agree with, does that change the fact that Misplaced Pages contains 1000s of edits which are not against the stated policy of Pakistan? Please stop unnecessary edit wars—TripWire  23:58, 12 June 2015 (UTC)

Word of advice

Before I actually have a look at the issue (since you've mentioned me), just a few words, and take it as good advice from an experienced user: You have to use the talk page to resolve any dispute. Don't make too many reverts. You are not allowed to make more than 3 reverts on an article. If you cross that limit, technically you can get reported and be blocked. So please, if you have made an extra revert on that article, consider undoing your edit for the time being so that things don't go down that route. And once again, please use the talk page before making any preemptive edits. If you don't, it will only land you in further trouble and invite others to scrutinise you. If you want to stay on Misplaced Pages and not get blocked, please take this advice seriously. I have become quite used to seeing constructive editors end up getting blocked from the site simply due to content disputes/nationalist edit wars. So please take a step back and don't engage in anything of that sort. Regards, Mar4d (talk) 18:54, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

Also, although you've mentioned me, inviting users to support you in an argument can be taken as WP:CANVASSING, which is also frowned upon. So it is better to refrain from giving that impression. Mar4d (talk) 18:56, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
Mar4d Thanks for the headsup. I understand that committing more than 3 reverts on an article will get me blocked, so I had avoided it. I was not knowing that one cannot directly invite other users. If that be the case, please if you can explain me the procedure for asking a third party opinion in case of a dispute? Lastly, I will request you once again to have a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/Talk:Mukti_Bahini thanks. —TripWire  20:01, 16 June 2015 (UTC)19:07, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
Well, the first preference of course is to resolve the dispute with the conflicting party on the talk page and come to a compromise. When that fails, you can request an WP:RFC for uninvolved third opinions or go to the neutral point of view noticeboards. If you want across-the-board opinions from people who may have relevant knowledge of the topic, it would be better to post on the talk pages of relevant WikiProjects, such as the Pakistan noticeboard and Bangladesh noticeboard, so that the users present there may chirp in. This is usually better than directly involving specific editors. At the moment, your aim should be to use the talk page as much as possible and engage constructively with the opposing editor. Regards, Mar4d (talk) 19:17, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

As Desired

Sir, User:TopGun and User:Mar4d having understood the rules as explained by Mar4d, I request your valuable comments at the RFC: https://en.wikipedia.org/Talk:Mukti_Bahini#RfC:_Should_the_revelations.2Fadmission_by_Prime_Minister_Modi_be_included_in_the_article.3FTripWire  20:54, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

You have to say, sources are reliable or not. Academic books are reliable or not. I am not going to investigate and verify myself. They appeared in google book search.WP:NOTTRUTH. Cosmic  Emperor  05:27, 14 June 2015 (UTC)

Sockpuppet investigation

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Misplaced Pages account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations/TripWire, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Misplaced Pages administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Misplaced Pages policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Misplaced Pages community.

Topic-banned

I have reviewed your recent edits and come to the conclusion that you are a tendentious editor whose presence on Misplaced Pages is motivated almost entirely to a desire to push a certain national POV, in a topic domain that has recently been overrun by such editors from all sides of the issue in question. As such, your presence on Misplaced Pages is harmful to the project. Under the discretionary sanctions rules for the India/Pakistan topic area, I am therefore topic-banning you from all edits related to Pakistani politics and Indian/Pakistani conflicts, for a period of 6 months. Please refer to the WP:AC/DS page about appeal procedures. Fut.Perf. 15:04, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
