This template is used on approximately 5,400 pages and changes may be widely noticed. Test changes in the template's /sandbox or /testcases subpages, or in your own user subpage. Consider discussing changes on the talk page before implementing them.

This template is intended for navigation to the prior and next tip for the daily pages of Misplaced Pages:Tip of the day, e.g. Misplaced Pages:Tip of the day/December 9. It was created in response to Misplaced Pages:Village pump (technical)/Archive 142#Tip-of-the-Day template bug (permanent link)

Usage

If no parameter is given then the current date is used. Always give a date on the daily pages.
