Your source just said that YPG retake 5 villages and 4 farms. which was previously marked as SDF-held. This was 4 January do when SDF retake some villages. But source not said that the SDF also retake villages of Jubb al-Qidarah, al-Haymar, Shallal, Abdul Kulaib cliffs, Abu Safayah, Dibsiyah, Bir al-Ama and Marwan. Read this discussion: Guy, I'm also as and you support the Kurds forces and against ISIS but I ask you not do unjustified edits on based the incorrect data. Please read the previously discusion and do self-revert because the villages which you put as SDF-held a still not taken. ] (]) 17:31, 7 January 2016 (UTC) | Your source just said that YPG retake 5 villages and 4 farms. which was previously marked as SDF-held. Hi,
I saw your and I believe You are missusing the sources. I don't speak Kurdish, but I can recognise some names of the villages that were recently liberated, like "Kerdoşan, Kadriye Şêx, Ali Şemari, Ebumajd û Hasudiye". All of those villages are already yellow on our map.
What You did is basically reverted all of my edits and used bogus source to justify it. Please, don't missinterpret news in the future because it's strictly forbidden. Thanks for understanding. --] (]) 17:40, 7 January 2016 (UTC) |

Turkish Kurdistan
Stop pushing your point of view in that article please. Thank you. --Mttll (talk) 09:50, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
Hello there!
I've been working more or less solo on the turkey module for so long, so I appreciate any contributions. Of course I ask that you cite them, even if this just means a url in the edit summary (that's what I've been doing). --Monochrome_Monitor 01:48, 14 December 2015 (UTC) Oh, and for that matter have you seen the talk page? --Monochrome_Monitor 01:57, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
- First of all, thanks for your contributions on this article. I also followed this talk page. Because this war is so new.. Now it's just a rebellion or insurgency, but in the future there will be a civil war. Like the Syrian civil war. Then we can add sources to the edit summary. Bruskom (talk) 03:44, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
- But it would be better to start now, even while the page has few visitors, wouldn't it? I did think the conflict would escalate when the AKP got a majority (obviously unfairly) and that lawyer was killed, but apparently Kurds have a pretty high tolerance for that stuff. --Monochrome_Monitor 11:13, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
- Have you seen this? XD --Monochrome_Monitor 18:38, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
- And the borders of the provinces should be slightly thicker than black. like that Bruskom (talk) 10:33, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

Recent edit to Kurds
Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! DrDevilFX (talk) 11:42, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
Edit warring
Bruskom, I see you've been in a content dispute with User:Antmqr on Turkish Kurdistan for a little while. By rights, I should be blocking you both, instead I have protected the page to allow discussion to happen. Misplaced Pages has strict rules about how to solve content disputes - through discussion and consensus. Constant reverting will never help, so stop doing that. Absolutely. Ever again. If you cannot reach consensus between the two of you, follow the steps in WP:Dispute resolution. Finally, Bruskom, stop referring to Antmqr's edits as vandalism. Vandalism is a specific term on Misplaced Pages, which attributes malice to the edits - i.e. comparing them to replacing walls of text with swear words. I have seen no evidence of malice - I am sure Antmqr is also trying to improve the encyclopedia. If you carry on falsely calling his edits vandalism, I will block you for disruptive editing, as you will never be able to come to agreement if you are not open to it. Worm(talk) 18:49, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
- I see you've made no attempt to discuss the edits, so I assume you're happy with Antmqr's point of view on the talk page. Worm(talk) 13:38, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
A pie for you!

Turkey Map
So, yeah. I'm working off of this map. Thoughts? I think I should delete the rivers that aren't in Turkey, they are rather distracting. --Monochrome_Monitor 04:55, 27 December 2015 (UTC) I uploaded it as a separate file, File:Turkey location map2.svg--Monochrome_Monitor 05:10, 27 December 2015 (UTC) I have no idea how to invoke it in the module since it just says "Turkey" as the container rather than the filename, so there must be a step I'm missing. --Monochrome_Monitor 05:10, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you for helping. Generally familiar and most big rivers should be add to map. Only the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. And lakes and rivers in neighboring countries(Not all). The colors of the provinces should be corrected. It is must be the same as the Syria location map. Bruskom 06:32, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
- I'll try to make Syria layer more or less perfectly with it, but since the current version doesn't overlap with syria it'll be a pain in the ass. --Monochrome_Monitor 06:44, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
- Ugh. I have to take bits from several maps and put them together to make this work. --Monochrome_Monitor 07:06, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
- Um, it IS the same as the syria map colorization wise. --Monochrome_Monitor 13:12, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
- I downloaded a much better SVG editor than the crappy online one was using earlier. This make take some time though. --Monochrome_Monitor 21:19, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
- I'm done transferring the rivers from the Syria map to the turkey one. Now I'm working on turkey's rivers. --Monochrome_Monitor 22:50, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Kurds image gallery
Hi! There has been a long discussion about image galleries in articles about ethnic groups. It was concluded yesterday with a consensus for removing such galleries, see wp:NOETHNICGALLERIES. You may want to revert your last edit. Regards! --T*U (talk) 07:07, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
- To be precise, it's been decided not to have image galleriess in infoboxes. Please respect this decision. Doug Weller talk 09:58, 4 January 2016 (UTC)
