ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Mind checking it for a sec? :)
Hey Jaqeli,
I recently created a (start/C class) article about the period of Caucasian Iberia when it became a province/direct vassalage of the Sasanids (Sasanian Iberia). Would you mind checking it for a sec to see if it has any "major" fallacies? Are the dates correct? I was thinking that it perhaps should start earlier, from 502, but I'm not sure. That's when it became a vassal namely. Also, do you perhaps know who were the Sasanid marzpans of Iberia? I would like to add them to the article. If this all ain't too much of an issue/work for you. Bests and thanks! :-) - LouisAragon (talk) 02:51, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- Hey @LouisAragon: I think it's better if you address this question to @Kober: really. He's more into that dates and etc. Jaqeli 15:56, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- Will do! Thanks for the reply. Bests - LouisAragon (talk) 16:01, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- @LouisAragon: By chance do you have any info about my question at the Talk:Abbas I of Persia about Tinatin? Jaqeli 16:53, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- Will do! Thanks for the reply. Bests - LouisAragon (talk) 16:01, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- Not atm, but I will take a thorough look when I get back working on the PC, and will definitely let you know anything useful that I happen to find about her. Bests and take care. - LouisAragon (talk) 17:44, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- Btw, @Jaqeli:, what should we do with the lede of the Chosroids after all? We have several top sources saying they were a branch of the Iranian Mihranids, while 1 (or 2?) other state a Georgian origin. To make it more fuzzy, the info box states that they were ethnically Georgian. We should come to a conclusion soon, I believe, whenever we have the time. Bests - LouisAragon (talk) 02:11, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
- @LouisAragon: I think it's better now. Origins section has it all, though can be expanded if needed be. Jaqeli 20:18, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

- Back to Tinatin, ideally it would be to have some Persian sources (I think you mentioned that yourself long ago as well). Unfortunately, I can't read nor write Farsi (only speaking/understanding). If you want, I can ask some people to find some of those Persian sources for me, and translate them. No probs.
- In the meantime I found some English sources, but I'm quite sure you probably found out about them yourself already.-. Bests - LouisAragon (talk) 00:39, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
- Just added Safi I's, and Abbas II's wifes. There's another Tinatin amongst Safi's wifes, btw. - LouisAragon (talk) 00:58, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
- @LouisAragon: Yeah, original Persian sources would be way better I'd say. Jaqeli 17:47, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

@Jaqeli:, feel free to leave a comment here. Its regarding this mass disruption. - LouisAragon (talk) 17:44, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
@LouisAragon: Unfortunately I couldn't comment over the issue of his behavior. I believed his motives were somehow balanced but right now his editing behavior is rather conflicting and disruptive which he continues so far what should be addressed. Jaqeli 21:08, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, there are atm users in the double digits that are severely dissatisfied with the editorial pattern of this "new user". He's clearly not WP:HERE to contribute conform the standards of this place. Here for not more than 2 weeks (as his account claims), he's only been notably violating 3RR, accusing everyone who disagrees with him, pov-pushing, making wrong edits, and being at obvious agenda-loaded pains regarding several specific chapters of Georgian history. His little editorial conduct confirms this (you should take a further look at it whenever you have time). He has a few good edits too, but they outnumber the disruptive ones by far, unfortunately. Be sure to ping me whenever any new talk page section is opened, and I'lll surely try at least to drop my own opinion (once again, as the previous ANI section I opened about him was left eventually without any admin action) about him as was involved with his conduct from the start as well. Bests - LouisAragon (talk) 22:08, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- @LouisAragon: I don't even think he is Georgian. I wrote him in Georgian but he ignored it so interestingly I doubt he is Georgian or from Georgia. Having a look at his work ethic and discussion type he doesn't really seems to be a "new user" here. Seems like a sock of someone but hitting this time Georgian topics. Jaqeli 22:16, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah mate, my very first thought was as well from almost the start that he's most likely a sock. Quite 100% clear that he's not a new user. Anyway, sooner or later, it'll always show. - LouisAragon (talk) 22:23, 29 December 2015 (UTC)

Title
Hey Jaqeli, I was talking with Kober some time ago about it as well, as we're still searching for a fitting title for the period of Iranian domination of eastern Georgia, until the Russian conquests. It's kinda hard to find a fitting one as Irano-Georgian relations were quite complex. Do you perhaps have an idea about a good title? Let me know your opinion please in any case. :-) Bests and take care - LouisAragon (talk) 13:18, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
- @LouisAragon: "Relations of Persian and Georgian monarchies" or anything like that would make a good title. There is simply no fitting title to describe this nature of relations in 2 words. Jaqeli 21:11, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, something in that trend, I agree. ) - LouisAragon (talk) 22:14, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
