This user page may meet Misplaced Pages's criteria for speedy deletion because: User's subpage requested to be deleted by the user who created it. (CSD U1). I will not be using this account again. The associated user page User:Anonymous sock can also be deleted.. For valid criteria, see CSD. You are using this template in the wrong namespace. Use this template on your talk page instead.
Ok - so what you're saying is because I was honest by openly admitting it was a sock, I've been banned. If I'd been more sneaky, I'd have been ok. Does that seem fair? (or assuming good faith?)
Not only has this acccount been blocked, but so has my IP address. If you can't or won't release this account, could someone at least release this. At the moment, I can create a new account, (which I admit is a second account - I hesitate to use the word sock), but that is also blocked because of the IP.
I'll add a helpme tag, as it seems to be the only way of getting anyone's attention, and I can't leave messages on other users pages (and won't email, for the reasons given below.
As previously stated, the {{helpme}} tag is for newcomers to get basic editing help and is not appropriate for your purposes. If you need to say something to someone, please do it openly with your main account. If you cannot take responsibility for what you say, then there is no reason why others should listen to you. If you need your IP address to be unblocked, please tell us your IP address. To get unblocked, you may send an email to unblock-en-l@mail.wikimedia.org. You may create an email account for this purpose if you so wish. - Tangotango 17:22, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Sorry if I'm getting narked, but I CAN'T DO ANYTHING FROM MY MAIN ACCOUNT - IT'S BLOCKED!!! All I want is my IP unblocked - I thought Admins would be able to read this, as they were quick enough to block it. But if not, it's , though I'm currently attempting to get this changed.
The reason why I need a second account if so that I can leave a message of support for another user, PublicgirlUK (who also has had a lot of stick from over-zealous admins), without my contributions being read by people who know me. If you look at her contributions, you'll see the reason why I wish to be discrete.
Finally, please bear in mind that not everyone has the ability (or technical know-how) or indeed the desire to create new email accounts.

At last! IP Unblocked. Thank-you, kind sir/madam - at least someone out there is on my side!

Additional - Sock puppets are NOT reasons alone for blocking - see WP:SOCK for examples of legitmate uses of sock puppets. I have also had my main account blocked. What happened to WP:AGF?

Also, I am supposed to contact User:DragonflySixtyseven. How? I'm blocked!

Next day. Still blocked, but at least I've had a reason on my user page - inappropriate username. I've checked Misplaced Pages:Username, and I can't see why. Maybe because I was honest enough to admit from the start that this username was a) anonymous, and b) a second account (a sockpuppet). As I said, I'd intended to explain this on my userpage. If I'd been more devious and chosen a random username like FreddyFrog or something, I'd have got away with it.

If the "powers that be" still consider this an inappropriate username, please delete this account (not any others using this IP address), or at least unblock the IP address so that I can log on and work from my usual account. --Anonymous sock 06:07, 26 August 2006 (UTC) (real ID can be declared to admin on request)

Hello, you used the {{helpme}} tag. How may I help you? When you've asked your question, please put the tag back so we know to check back. Alternatively, you can join the Misplaced Pages Bootcamp IRC channel to get real-time help. (Use the web-based client to get instant access.) Helpme is for Editing help. {{unblock}} is for unblocking. In response to how to contact the blocking admin simply click here. :) Let me know if there's anything else you need. --Deon555Review 06:12, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Firstly, I value my anonymity very highly (even when logged in with my usual username), therefore there is no way I am going to reveal my email address to anybody.
Secondly, I don't like chat-rooms, which is what that IRC channel seems to be. I'd rather communicate by leaving messages, but as I'm blocked, this is the only place I can do it. Adding the {{helpme}} tag was the only way I could get a response - the {{unblock}} tag has been ignored. --Anonymous sock 06:37, 26 August 2006 (UTC) (real ID can be declared to admin on request)
Hi, Firstly: if you don't want to use {{unblock}}, and you dont want to email, then you will stay blocked.
Secondly: The
Hello, you used the {{helpme}} tag...

message i placed is a Template. The "Alternatively, If you need help join the IRC Channel" is part of that template. I'm sorry, but i'm not sure what else I can do for you. Thanks :) --Deon555Review 06:41, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

I do want to use the {{unblock}} tag - and I am, at the top of this page, but it is being ignored. Is there anyone else out there who's listening to me? I'm feeling frustrated and beginning to get rather annoyed. Block this account if you must, but why should my main account suffer? --Anonymous sock 06:47, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Glad to see that you are not being autoblock. Please choose an appropriate account name, not really to sock, or Willy or something like that. Thanks, IolakanaT 17:49, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
