The Absorbing Man is the alias of supervillain Carl "Crusher" Creel, a fictional character in the Marvel Universe. He was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. He is mainly an antagonist of Thor and first appeared in the comic book Journey into Mystery #114.
