I've reverted your disruptive edits. This is what the closer said. Only in cases that the comments from the judges are ambiguous is it necessary to rely on a secondary source (even so, it's rare for it to be that ambiguous). I suggest that you familiarize yourself with the show and read what the consensus actually is before you go reverting edits. Do not make further revisions to the articles unless you are willing to point out any ambiguous comments from the judges and any sources to go with those, since the onus is on you to show a secondary source is required. <small>''']''' (])</small> 23:37, 27 April 2017 (UTC) I've reverted your disruptive edits. Happy New Year !!!

Hi Tenebrae,

I would like to wish you a Happy New Year 2017 !!! I will put a link here and I don't know if you will be able to access it, it is a link to the BAnQ (Bibliothèque des Archives nationales du Québec) and maybe you'll be able to see the baptism certificate of Norma Shearer from Westmount in Montreal - here it is -> http://bibnum2.banq.qc.ca/bna/ecivil/affichage.html?serie=06M_CE601S147&a=r If you see something on this link, click on "1903" at the middle left then click on "Janvier - Décembre" who will appear. Then you will see the pages. Go to page 9A then click on "Page 9A" then click on "Affichage plein écran" and the page will download. Then if you have an arrow who points down in the upper-right of your computer (it's the downloading) click on this arrow then click on the thing who appears and you will see the baptism certificate of Edith Norma Shearer. I don't know if you'll be able to see it (since you're not a BAnQ member) but if you are able anyone will be able to see it. Give me news. And Happy New Year again Tenebrae !!! --Danielvis08 (talk) 04:00, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

P.S. For Douglas Shearer click on "1900" then "janvier - décembre" then on "Page 6". For Athole Shearer click on "1901" then "janvier - décembre" then on "Page 3A". --Danielvis08 (talk) 04:21, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

At long last...Jack Schiff has a Misplaced Pages article!

Hi Tenebrae,

Back on July 16, 2013, you wrote to me that "One of these days we'll get around to Jack Schiff!" After 3½ years, I finally created it! He was a pretty interesting person. How many other comics creators worked with Pearl S. Buck?

I've created six new articles in the space of 12 days which is a new personal best. All Out War (comics), Jesse Santos, Bill Draut, D. Bruce Berry, and Howard Bender are the other new ones. Hope you enjoy them.

Best regards,

Mtminchi08 (talk) 23:23, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

Minor critics society awards

Hey, I know awhile back you were looking to remove some of these minor critics society awards and I found some that may have escaped your sight while updating List of accolades received by Deadpool (film). Denver Film Critics Society hasn't been updated since 2014 and doesn't any sources. Jupiter Award (film award) claims to be "Germany's biggest audience award" but doesn't cite any sources.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 14:31, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

Undid revision

CalzGuy undid my edit at Sing Street. He told me that "Misplaced Pages:Manual_of_Style/Film#Accolades doesn't say that". Explain to him and I won't edit that article...

Then, user URunICon watched my contribution and edited similar with my contribution, by adding "the center ref(s)". I fixed them as URunICon did for La La Land's accolades, but URunICon reverted them. What's wrong with me? URunICon makes plan by kicking me at Misplaced Pages. Am I wrong again for following Misplaced Pages's rule? You can see Sing Street again.

Superman

Well, Tenebrae, my original account has been restored at the forebearance of the admins, and I'm going ahead and finishing up some loose ends on the Superman article. I distracted myself these past few months researching other domains, but this is one itch that I needed to scratch. I regret that our past interactions were foul, but what to do? If you object to what I have just done, you can confront me on Talk and I will bear you no ill will for this. If I encounter resistance again, I will fold. Things didn't go so well for everyone last time, and my work on this article is almost done anyway, so I think I could bear to walk away. Kurzon (talk) 18:59, 20 January 2017 (UTC)

Monsters Unleashed-response

In my defense to Monsters Unleashed, the storyline was made separate in order to keep it from being confused with the unrelated comic series just like how they had to keep Secret Wars and it's 2015 comic book separate. This issue is a big event for the Marvel Comics monsters community. Did I leave anything out? --Rtkat3 (talk) 22:29, 24 January 2017 (UTC)

Captain America

Hey would you mind chiming in on the Captain America discussion right now? I feel like this is something which will need opinions from a lot of people to be done right. I'm going to bring it up in the Comicproject talkpage as well.★Trekker (talk) 22:24, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

Re: A Monster Calls

I forgot to write it was also british-american. I wrote it because as the films The Impossible (2012 film) and Regression (film), they are "spanish films" because the director and companies, but they are in english. I agree with you and yes, "A Monster Calls" is both, spanish-british-american. Thanks and now, the description is correct :)

JaviDex (talk) 18:00, 27 January 2017 (UTC)

Perfect. But, I think no cites are neccesary. I mean, the director is spanish, the scriptwriter is british-american and the characters and the companies are spanish-british-americans, so the countries are known thanks of that. In spite of this, all the cites I can find (spanish newspapers as: http://cultura.elpais.com/cultura/2016/10/06/actualidad/1475712379_440756.html) says the film is spanish (Género: drama. España, 2016 - Type: drama. Spain, 2016). I think we can leave that as it is in the article (the film is spanish-british-american) :)

Top Ten Lists

Hi. Hope you're well. I've noticed that you've removed appearances in Top Ten lists from accolades lists. I support this for the minor critic associations, but support inclusions of if they appeared in the top Ten of National Board of Review or American Film Institute which have independent recognition and are covered every year in accolades list. Is there consensus for this, if so I can begin culling these from the accolades lists? Cowlibob (talk) 19:41, 9 February 2017 (UTC)

Hi, @Cowlibob: Unless something's changed in the last couple of days, the only top-ten list WP:FILM is including is the AFI's. If I had to guess, the National Board of Review isn't included since then we'd have to start including national boards and their equivalents from a whole bunch of other countries, bloating the lists all over again. --Tenebrae (talk) 22:21, 9 February 2017 (UTC)

Coincidence (?): Sept répons des ténèbres --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:04, 10 February 2017 (UTC)

{unblock|reason=I confess I'm a little confused. 3RR requires four reverts and I made only three. Also, and perhaps I'm wrong, but WP:BLP vios, I believe, are excepted in any case. Actually, it appears that 12 hours have passed and I'm unblocked. I'm still curious as to the specifics of the violation, if I might ask for clarification. With thanks, --Tenebrae (talk) 20:20, 10 February 2017 (UTC)}}
I've disabled the unblock request. Perhaps you've had no reason to run into the distinction. Edit warring, as a general rule, is strongly discouraged. It's sometimes a bit subjective to determine if someone is edit warring; where is the threshold? One absolute threshold is the three revert thing -- if you break 3RR, you're going to get blocked, and there's not much arguing to be done about it. But you can edit war without violating 3RR; I've seen people blocked for edit warring by making one edit a month. --jpgordon 20:36, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
@Jpgordon: Thanks for responding. I appreciate the broader perspective. I'm surprised the WP:BLP nature of the edits didn't appear to come into consideration.--Tenebrae (talk) 20:40, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
Possibly they might not have been noticed. You might want to ask the blocking admin about that. --jpgordon 01:16, 11 February 2017 (UTC)

Wikizilla Links

I have a few questions about this whole thing. I have to go to this External Links noticeboard to make my request, and then I have to take that discussion and link it at the Project Film place and the Project Tokusatsu place? That's how I'm understanding it but I'm not entirely sure if I'm correct. Could you please elaborate on this. Also I could do without the accusations that I'm setting up an edit-war please. I don't want things to get out of hand just because I'm not completely familiar with Misplaced Pages's rules. EncyclopediaGojira (talk) 04:44, 25 February 2017 (UTC)

@EncyclopediaGojira: Quite alright. Though you've been on Misplaced Pages since October, I guess it's still understandable you might not have been familiar with the protocol at WP:BRD or with WP:EDITWAR. There's a learning curve for all of us. I will note that User:Friginator already spoke with you about all this on your talk page at https://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=User_talk:EncyclopediaGojira&diff=762660987&oldid=746280707.
An RfC is pretty simple, though it does take a few steps, the most important of which is crafting a neutral question. Go to Misplaced Pages:Requests for comment and follow the directions. They which will include adding "{{rfc|media}} where it asks for "category."
Afterward, in order to generate comments from editors particularly knowledgable in the subject matter, which always helps, you almost certainly want to add something like "A request for comment concerning a specific external link to Godzilla-related articles is taking place at ." These would go at the bottom Misplaced Pages talk:WikiProject Film and Misplaced Pages talk:WikiProject Tokusatsu at the very least. I hope this helps, and I'm here of you need any specific help in setting up the RfC. --Tenebrae (talk) 20:49, 26 February 2017 (UTC)

How is this image inappropriate exactly? It portrays Doom in both his classic design and his new design as Iron Man.

@86.43.187.228: Thank you for asking. Infobox images are supposed to show the most longstanding and traditional version of a character. Superman has had different costumes now and then, sometimes for a year or more, but we show the traditional Superman costume. --Tenebrae (talk) 19:59, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

@Tenebrae: Could you tell me why my edits are being reverted? I'm simply trying to mention that Victor Von Doom is now a heroic character. I'd like a suitable explanation of why my edits are seen as inappropriate. --Impending_IP (talk) 14:17, 4 March 2017 (UTC)

@Tenebrae

Please think for a second. What exactly do "all other editors" disagree with regarding my edits? I have not been told. Can you let me know? I don't see any problem whatsoever with mentioning the current status of Doctor Doom. What is the problem with mentioning that e is now Infamous Iron Man?

For a Master Editor IV you're acting pretty hasty. Calm down, willya? Master Editors are supposed to be good role models and not go off half-cocked. Partly for my own protection (from you) I opened a thread at WP:ANI concerning this situation, which you have way escalated and which I think you're in the wrong on procedural grounds, and maybe we can hash it out there or whatever. Herostratus (talk) 21:04, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

Let's see if we can dial this down a notch

I noticed that 1) you're a Master Editor IV with a bunch of barnstars and 2) you were recently blocked (for edit-warring) even though your log is otherwise clean; these are two things that don't fit together, so I wonder if something is going on. I addition it'd only be human to be upset about that block (I would be). Not my business, so that's all I can really say about that.

Under the circumstances I've decided to cut you some slack and not make a huge deal over what's going on over at at the article. WP:BRD is an important principle and worth fighting for, but this particular hill is not worth dying over. I'll meet you over at the talk page there presently. It'd be great too if you could keep an eye on the article, if you aren't already, just to handle any vandalism and such (the article is not currently protected either). I'm probably going to remove it from my watchlist very soon and will be back on May 5 after seeing the film myself. And I'll come back later and post any questions I might have! Here's one. Having not seen the film yet, I don't know if this is silly or not given the content, but, what was the decision to have as many post-credit scenes as there are, and why weren't the scenes incorporated elsewhere in the film? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:32, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
Another: If allowed (as I know this can happen at junkets sometimes), see if Gunn is able to talk about/confirm any of the Guardians-related characters in Infinity War outside of the main team, specifically the Collector (as we have some suspect sourcing on his appearance). Probably can't or won't mention anyone specifically but worth a shot. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:39, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
Smart questions from a smart editor! Will ask. Without giving anything away that anyone wouldn't expect, one of the end-credit scenes does set up a another Marvel character. --Tenebrae (talk) 19:04, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
I think I would need to see the film first to come up with any decent questions, but having him explain his reasoning/development process for anything is always great for us. - adamstom97 (talk) 22:51, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
If not to late for another one: Any way for him to confirm Bradley Cooper for Infinity War would be great. We have the character appearing and his brother doing on set motion reference/acting again, but not that Cooper will be back. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:24, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
I'll give it a shot! --Tenebrae (talk) 17:25, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
Much obliged! Those are the best I can think of without having seen the film like Adam said. Obviously since you've seen it, if there were moments you think a lot of people will want to know about (VFX things, how something was filmed/prepped, etc.) those are always good to have info on! - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:28, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
Hmmm perhaps something about what if any influence the 80s/90s (and any particular film(s) from that era) had on him considering his use retro color schemes and casting stars from that era (Stallone, Russell, Close, Zombie).--TriiipleThreat (talk) 19:16, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

@TriiipleThreat and Adamstom.97: FYI to you all, I've taken the GotG Vol. 2 article, MCU films and MCU film cast articles off my watch list, since stuff may be added from junkets and the premiere red carpet interviews. Will be back on these on May 5. Hope the interviews went well Tenebrae! - Favre1fan93 (talk) 01:54, 21 April 2017 (UTC)

St. Louis University High School

Hi. Thank you for your efforts on the above article. Just a warning, there are some alumni that are very persistent in trying to use that article to promote the school. I am very glad there are some other eyes on it, as I am getting burned out on it badly. Thanks again. John from Idegon (talk) 19:08, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

@John from Idegon: Thanks for the kind words, and, yeah, what you say is exactly what it looked like. I will continue keeping an eye on it. --Tenebrae (talk) 20:58, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

Understanding Consensus

Even as to relying on the show itself is a primary source, which we could rely upon. Of course we have to be very careful in such a case not to do WP:OR. For instance, if there are a mixture of positive and negative things said, how do we know if they are in top or bottom? In such a case, ONLY secondary sources could be allowed to resolve the question.

Do not make further revisions to the articles unless you are willing to point out any ambiguous comments from the judges and any sources to go with those, since the onus is on you to show a secondary source is required. nihlus kryik (talk) 23:37, 27 April 2017 (UTC)

Apparently you do not understand what consensus is or what a status-quo is. I recommend you worry less about your edit count and more about what your edits are. nihlus kryik (talk) 17:55, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
