Upon beating the game, the heroes learn that Dhaos arrived at earth to retrieve a Mana Seed to save his dying people on his home planet. In the epilogue, the heroes ponder if defeating Dhaos effectively sentenced his people to death, but then justify their means when they realize that Dhaos killed many people to meet his means. Later, Martel, the dryad of the Tree of Life, creates a Mana Seed out of Dhaos's body and sends it to the heavens, presumably to Derris-Kharlan. In the animation, it is subtitled Delis Qaran, but cross-referencing it with the official English version of ], which is rumored to be a prequel to Phantasia, the name is translated to Derris-Kharlan.

In Tales of Eternia, or in America, Tales of Destiny II, Sekundes is a very similar character to Dhaos.
